Nintendo’s US retail offers page lists Switch 2 offers and participating retailers. Nintendo says offers are available while supplies last, so use the page to discover listings, not as confirmation that a console can be bought right now.

Check each retailer’s exact listing
Open the product page at each retailer rather than relying on a search result or an old preorder announcement. If the retailer’s current page offers an in-stock notification, enable it there and check that the email or app notification settings are active. Nintendo’s offers page does not establish which retailers currently offer alerts.

When a notification arrives, open the listing and verify that it is the Switch 2 console or the bundle you want, that the seller is the retailer you intended, and that stock is actually available for purchase. Compare total checkout price, bundle contents, delivery or pickup terms, and return or cancellation conditions. An alert is not a reservation, and availability can change before checkout.
How to tell a restock from a back order
A retailer restock means the retailer’s own listing shows an item available to purchase. A back order is different: it is an existing order status indicating that the item is unavailable now and will ship when it returns to stock.
For an order placed through Nintendo Store, check your order history or order-status page. Nintendo defines “Back-Ordered” as: “This item is currently unavailable and will ship as soon as it is in stock.” Nintendo’s general guidance says most items return to processing within 3–4 days and advises allowing one week for back-ordered items. What to make of old preorder information
Nintendo’s financial report dates the Switch 2 hardware launch to June 5, 2025. Launch-window preorder schedules and invitation programs are historical unless Nintendo or a retailer announces a new preorder window on a current official page.
Nintendo’s support information distinguishes digital game preorders from physical-item pre-purchases; it does not show that Switch 2 hardware preorders are currently open. Check the current hardware listing before treating any preorder notice as active. See Nintendo eShop Pre-Orders.
Compare listings before you buy
When several offers appear, compare the details that affect the actual purchase. Nintendo notes that listed savings may vary and that availability is limited to supplies; confirm price and terms with the participating retailer.

Why high demand does not predict your local restock
Nintendo Co., Ltd. estimated cumulative global consumer sell-through of 15 million Switch 2 units through the fourth week of December 2025. That figure provides broad demand context; it does not indicate local inventory, retailer stock, or when a particular listing will return.
Inventory changes, and the official offers page is not a live stock guarantee. Confirm availability on the retailer’s own current product page before placing an order.
