You can’t unlock Fortnite’s free Burnoff Outfit through the promotion now: Epic’s deadline was June 17, 2025, and that date has passed. Epic’s instructions do not give a new claim route or announce a return.
How the free Burnoff unlock worked
Epic Games Player Support said players had to log into the Fortnite app on Android or iOS before June 17, 2025, in a region where the app was available. The instruction specified a mobile login; it did not require buying the outfit or completing a quest. Epic’s Burnoff Outfit support page gives the original condition.

Because the cutoff has passed, logging in now does not satisfy that promotion requirement.
Where Fortnite mobile was available
Epic’s instruction allowed Android or iOS in any region where Fortnite was available. It specifically noted that Fortnite was available on iOS only in the United States and the EU. That iOS restriction did not describe Android availability. Epic’s Games Store page also references the historical mobile promotion and mobile platform availability.

Can you still get Burnoff, or will it return?
The cited official pages do not provide another way to claim Burnoff or say that the outfit will return in a future promotion. They also do not support using a VPN, buying an account or device, or seeking a code as an alternative unlock method. Treat claims of a current free unlock as unverified unless Epic publishes new instructions.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
