How to revive a teammate during a run
- Find the dropped head. It should be near where the teammate died. Gaming House’s guide says the map shows a colored dot matching that character; it lists Tab as the map key, though your binding may differ. See Gaming House’s revive guide.
- Pick up the head and bring it to extraction. The guide’s procedure is to carry the head to the extraction platform and place it in the extraction area.
- Meet the cash quota. Once the quota is met and extraction activates, the guide says players in the extraction area are revived.
- Get the revived player to safety. The guide reports a return with 1 HP, so move away from danger and restore health if possible.
What happens after the revive
Semiwork’s official v0.4.4 patch notes, dated May 25, 2026, say: “Player Revive – Added 1 second of invincibility after revive to prevent instant deaths.” That brief protection can help a revived player move, but it is not a substitute for getting out of danger. If you leave without the head
An unofficial Repo Game guide reports that a player who is not revived returns automatically in the next round with 1 HP. The official patch note cited above does not confirm this fallback, so treat it as guide-reported rather than guaranteed for every build.
Should you retrieve the head or move on?
The immediate choice is between spending time carrying the head to extraction and continuing the run without attempting a revive. Retrieval offers the chance to bring the teammate back during the current round, but requires the team to reach the extraction area and meet the quota. Moving on avoids that detour; the reported next-round return is uncertain and still leaves the teammate at 1 HP. Choose based on whether the team can safely make the extraction and how much risk the detour adds.

Are dead players able to speak through their heads?
PC Gamer reported in September 2025 that an upcoming update would let dead players charge up, press E to possess their head, speak through it, and hop. That report described an upcoming feature, not a control scheme verified for the current build, so check the in-game prompts rather than relying on those inputs. See PC Gamer’s report.
The detailed revive steps and health figures above come from guides published in 2025; official Steam material confirms the one-second invincibility change in v0.4.4 but does not document the full procedure. Exact behavior in later builds may differ.
