Equip or hold the weapon you want to drop, then press Backspace on a keyboard. This is player-reported guidance, not a currently confirmed official key binding; the developer has confirmed that weapon and item dropping exists, but its update notes do not name the key.
Drop a weapon on keyboard
- Equip or hold the weapon you want to drop.
- Press Backspace.
A recent Playbite answer recommends this input. It is community guidance, so if Backspace does not work, check Criminality’s current in-game controls rather than assuming the binding is unchanged.
What the developer confirms
Criminality supports dropping weapons and items onto the ground. In its V1.3.2 update notes, the developer wrote: “Weapons/items can now be dropped on the ground instead of just given to a player (applies to scraps).” The note confirms the feature, but does not establish that every item can be dropped in every situation or identify Backspace as the current control. Mobile and console controls
The available sources do not establish the current drop input for mobile or console. Do not assume the keyboard instruction applies to those platforms; check the current in-game controls for the device you are using.

Is G the drop key?
No. The developer’s May 21, 2023 Summer Update #1 notes identify G as a new key for inspecting V2 guns, not dropping them.
