Yes. PXN lists the V9 racing wheel as compatible with Nintendo Switch. For the simplest setup, connect it to a docked console using the dock’s USB port. Handheld connection requires a Type-C OTG adapter, which PXN says is not included. Compatibility does not ensure every game supports the wheel or its pedals identically: PXN says Switch pedal input can act like an on/off button rather than proportional acceleration.
Connect the PXN V9 to a Switch
PXN’s V9 product page lists Nintendo Switch as a compatible platform and describes the wheel as wired USB. PXN’s V9 user manual describes two connection options:
Docked: use the dock’s USB port
- Connect the pedals and shifter to the wheel base if you want to use them.
- Place the Switch in its dock.
- Plug the wheel’s USB cable into a USB port on the dock.
PXN says the wheel’s indicator remains on when the connection succeeds. These instructions describe docked use.
Handheld: use a Type-C OTG adapter
PXN’s manual describes connecting a Type-C OTG adapter to the console, then connecting the wheel’s USB cable through the adapter. The adapter is not included. The manual does not specify a brand or model, so check that any adapter you choose has a compatible connector and supports data.

Game support and pedal controls vary
PXN’s V3/V9/V9 GEN2 game support list names examples of Switch titles for the wheel family, including Mario Kart 8, Gear.Club Unlimited 2, GRIP: Combat Racing, FAST RMX, Sonic Racing, Asphalt 9: Legends, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, GRID Autosport, Spintires: MudRunner, and SnowRunner. This is PXN’s guidance, not a guarantee that every listed game supports every wheel feature, mapping, or update.
PXN’s V9/V9 GEN2 FAQ notes that a pedal may need to be mapped to the acceleration or braking button used by a particular game. For example, PXN says Mario games may use A for acceleration while other games may commonly use R2. The FAQ also says Switch pedal input behaves like a controller button: acceleration is on or off rather than scaled to how far the pedal is pressed. The pedal may move linearly, but that does not make its input proportional in the game.

If a pedal does not respond
For Switch games other than Mario Kart, PXN’s FAQ gives this mapping procedure:
- Hold the wheel’s PROG button for three seconds.
- Press the accelerator or brake pedal you want to map.
- Press the matching acceleration or braking button in the game.
Use the button that the game itself assigns to acceleration or braking; a mapping that works in one title may not work in another.

Check whether your wheel is a V9 or V9 GEN2
PXN publishes separate materials for the V9 and V9 GEN2. Check the model label on your wheel and use the manual supplied with that unit if you have a GEN2. PXN’s materials establish manufacturer-stated Switch compatibility for the V9 family, but do not establish that every hardware revision, game, or firmware behaves the same way.
