Why the groups fit
The yellow group collects objects that make sound when struck or shaken. The green words can describe satisfying or settling an obligation: you can clear, pay, settle, or square a debt.

The blue group draws on the familiar quotation “I came, I saw, I conquered.” The tiles are CAME, CONQUERED, I, and SAW; they are words from the quote, not tiles arranged in its exact natural word order.
AB, PRO, SINE, and SUB are Latin prepositions, making up the purple group.
