No Man’s Sky Voyagers launched on August 27, 2025, as update 6.0. Its centerpiece is the Corvette, a large customizable starship with a furnished, explorable interior, room for multiple passengers, and support for cooperative missions and spacewalks. Voyagers is an update to No Man’s Sky, not a separate game, and later updates have followed it.
Voyagers release date and platforms
Hello Games announced Voyagers on August 27, 2025, and identified it as update 6.0. The official release log lists PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass. The log also records updates released after Voyagers, so 6.0 is not the current newest No Man’s Sky update. Check the relevant platform storefront and release notes for current availability and update status.

What the 6.0 patch notes add
Build and customize a Corvette
Voyagers introduces the Corvette-class starship: a larger ship that players assemble from modular structural and decorative parts. The catalogue includes hulls, wings, habitation modules, engines, windows, accessways, weapons, reactors, shield generators, connectors, and decorations. Rather than being limited to a fixed exterior, players can shape the ship and furnish its interior.

Corvette modules can be recovered from buried salvage containers and Derelict Freighters. The update notes also describe potential sources including defeated pirates, freighter cargo pods, crashed freighter crates, frigate expeditions, and mission rewards.
Explore and use the ship as a crew
Corvette interiors are explorable. Habitation modules connect when placed adjacent to one another, and players can install systems such as refiners and a nutrition unit. The ship can autopilot to destinations including space stations and planets. In an atmosphere, players can skydive from the Corvette; outside it, they can spacewalk around the ship.

Multiple players can travel aboard. Voyagers also adds Corvette-based cooperative missions: passengers can register as mission crew, work toward objectives, and earn rewards and standing.
Corvette Expedition and other additions
The Corvette Expedition introduces the ship workshop and unlockable Corvette parts. Its listed rewards include cosmetic items, ship trails, a Corvette weapon module, and the Mecha-Mouse companion.

What patch 6.01 fixed
Hello Games dated the first follow-up patch, 6.01, August 28, 2025. At launch, the developer said it was live on Steam and would reach other platforms as soon as possible. Listed fixes addressed Corvette scale and interaction issues, incorrect Corvette landing behavior, an Xbox black screen when HDR was enabled, and crashes.

Which patch notes should you check now?
For the original Voyagers feature set, consult the 6.0 notes. For the initial fixes, use the 6.01 notes. If you are troubleshooting a current issue or checking whether a later correction is available, consult the official release log and the patch notes for your platform: subsequent Voyagers patches and later game updates mean the initial 6.0 and 6.01 notes do not describe the game’s final state.
