GSC Game World says the Xbox fixes should solve the save-loss problem; its wording is not a guarantee that every save issue is eliminated.

- Shader compilation: Crashes and freezes during shader compilation.
- Rostok: A memory leak occurring in the location.
- Aiming and shooting: Performance degradation while shooting or aiming in saves with long playtime. The note does not claim to address every performance issue.
- Xbox saves: GSC says it implemented fixes that “should solve the problem causing saves to be lost on Xbox.”
- UI animations: A random crash related to UI animations.
If shader compilation still crashes or freezes
GSC asks players whose particular shader-compilation issue persists to contact its Tech Support Hub. The official note says: “Please, if your particular shader compilation issue is still present — let us know via our Tech Support Hub.”
Reported download size
DSOGaming reported on January 27, 2025, that the update was 13GB. Treat that as the outlet’s contemporaneous figure, not a guaranteed download size for every platform or storefront; GSC’s note does not provide a platform-by-platform size matrix. DSOGaming’s report and full patch notes also assessed that the update did not include major CPU optimizations. That is the outlet’s assessment, separate from GSC’s five listed fixes.
