Scopely announced in 2022 that it had acquired Stumble Guys from Finnish mobile game studio Kitka Games. The acquisition announcement did not disclose a purchase price or transaction structure. Scopely reported more than 20 million daily players and more than 1 billion hours of playtime at the time; those are announcement-era company figures, not current audience statistics.
What Scopely acquired
Scopely described Stumble Guys as a fast-paced multiplayer battle royale party game built around short rounds, social play, levels, and customizable skins, emotes, and avatars. Its announcement presented the acquisition as a way to continue developing and operating a game with an established player community.
Kitka Games CEO Olli Lahtinen said the small studio wanted “the right partner to take ‘Stumble Guys’ to the next level.” Scopely Chief Revenue Officer and Board Member Tim O’Brien said the company planned to continue shepherding and expanding the experience. Both statements appeared in Scopely’s acquisition announcement.
What the announcement said about the game’s scale
Scopely reported more than 20 million daily players and more than 1 billion hours of playtime in its 2022 announcement. These figures describe what the company reported at acquisition announcement time; they should not be read as independently verified or as a measure of the game’s current player base.

A later console announcement also described Stumble Guys as originally created by Kitka Games and acquired in 2022. At the time of that announcement, Scopely described cross-progression for existing accounts at console launch and crossplay as planned afterward. Those were statements about the console launch period, not confirmation of current platform availability or feature status.

Merchandise is separate from the acquisition terms. PMI Kids’ World materials describe a Stumble Guys toy line; its 2025 Series 2 release describes articulated figures measuring 4.5 inches tall. The release establishes the product category and stated figure size, not current retailer stock, pricing, or active listings.
