From the Castle-Lord’s Chamber Site of Grace, leave onto the balcony, descend the cliffside ledges, then enter the tower and climb to the chest.
Where to find Wing Stance
- Start at Castle-Lord’s Chamber. Progress through Castle Ensis until you reach the Castle-Lord’s Chamber Site of Grace.
- Leave through the east exit onto the balcony. Jump over the railing to the cliffside below. Depending on your camera orientation, the railing may not look like the same direction described in a guide; focus on reaching the ledges beneath the balcony.
- Follow the ledges down. Continue descending along the cliffside until you reach a tower.
- Climb to the top. Enter the tower and go up to the chest containing Ash of War: Wing Stance.
This is an optional detour from the route toward Rellana. You can collect the Ash before continuing through the boss fog beyond the chamber.
What Wing Stance does
The Ash grants the Quality affinity and the Wing Stance skill. The item description says: “Calmly assume a right-sided stance. Normal attack triggers a rapid three-slash combination. Strong attack triggers a leaping thrust.” It is usable on light greatswords.
