Stardew Valley has eight Rarecrows, earned through festivals, the Casino, the Traveling Cart, the Dwarf, and Museum donation rewards. Collect all eight to receive the Deluxe Scarecrow recipe by letter, usually the next day.
How to get all eight Rarecrows

- Rarecrow #1: Buy it at the Stardew Valley Fair for 800 Star Tokens.
- Rarecrow #2: Buy it at Spirit’s Eve for 5,000g.
- Rarecrow #3: Buy it at the Casino for 10,000 Qi Coins.
- Rarecrow #4: Choose either of two routes: buy it from the Traveling Cart for 4,000g if it appears in the cart’s random fall or winter stock, or buy it at the Festival of Ice for 5,000g.
- Rarecrow #5: Buy it at the Flower Dance for 2,500g.
- Rarecrow #6: Buy it from the Dwarf for 2,500g.
- Rarecrow #7: Donate 20 Artifacts to the Museum; Minerals do not count toward this requirement.
- Rarecrow #8: Donate 40 items to the Museum. The requirement is a total item count, not 40 Artifacts.
After first earning Rarecrow #7 or #8 through Museum donations, you can also purchase that Rarecrow at the Night Market. The listed routes do not establish additional vendor-access prerequisites, so check the relevant event or vendor when planning your collection.
What happens after you collect all eight?
Once you have obtained all eight Rarecrows, a letter from the fictional Z.C. Rarecrow Society supplies the Deluxe Scarecrow recipe. The letter usually arrives the next day; it is not guaranteed to arrive immediately.

- 40 Fiber
