The music is also a notable part of the official digital offering. Saber Interactive’s FAQ lists a 41-track soundtrack and names Frank Klepacki, Michael Markie, Hexenkraft, Sigurd Jøhnk-Jensen, and Music Imaginary: Cielecki/Skorupa/Wierzynkiewicz among its contributors. Is Tempest Rising like Command & Conquer?
It is reasonable to approach Tempest Rising as a modern game in the classic RTS tradition: PC Gamer has described it as Command & Conquer-style, and the Steam listing identifies it as a base-building RTS. That makes it a natural candidate for players seeking that broad kind of strategy game. The available descriptions do not establish that its campaigns, faction balance, economy or match pacing reproduce any particular Command & Conquer game, so those details are best judged from the game itself rather than inferred from the comparison.

Which platforms have Tempest Rising?
As of the official FAQ’s available information, Tempest Rising is available only on Windows through Steam. The Steam listing also offers digital soundtrack and digital artbook products. Saber Interactive says it has no current plan for physical copies, so players looking specifically for a boxed edition should not count on one being available.
When did Tempest Rising come out?
Steam lists April 24, 2025 as the release date. However, PC Gamer reported that the game became available a week earlier, on April 17, after a release-scheduling error; publishers opted to proceed with that early release. The listed release date and the date players first gained access are therefore different. Steam’s listing shows the listed date, while PC Gamer’s report explains the early availability.
