Reviews praise its presentation and controls, but the campaign is relatively brief and its challenges can feel repetitive. It is a better fit for fans and casual platformer players than for anyone seeking a long or demanding game.

How long is The Smurfs: Dreams?
The publisher describes four dream worlds with 12 levels and 16 mini-levels, alongside puzzles, collectibles, character customization, and abilities. That gives the game a clear campaign structure, but does not make it a long adventure: reviewers describe it as brief. TheSixthAxis estimated seven or eight hours in its review excerpt displayed on Metacritic; treat that as one publication’s estimate, not a guaranteed completion time. Players who explore thoroughly or replay levels may spend longer.
The relatively compact scope is a plus if you want a contained platforming experience, but a drawback if you expect a lengthy campaign or extensive mechanical depth. Microids’ game page lists the campaign structure and features.

Yes. The game supports solo play and two-player co-op. Nintendo specifies one or two players on a single system, so the confirmed option is local co-op; the reviewed sources do not establish online co-op. For Switch multiplayer, Nintendo says each player needs a compatible controller, so an additional controller may be required. Nintendo’s UK listing.
