How Strands works
Parade’s summary of the NYT instructions says to find theme words that fill the board by dragging or tapping letters to form words. To submit a word made by tapping, double-tap its final letter. The spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. Non-theme words can earn hints at three words per hint, and a hint reveals letters in a theme word.
