For a general Robin build, the reviewed Prydwen guide ranks Flowing Nightglow first, followed by But the Battle Isn’t Over and For Tomorrow’s Journey. That order is a guide recommendation, not a universal damage test: your best option also depends on your team, the fight, the cone’s superimposition, and what you already own.
Robin Light Cone ranking
| Rank | Light Cone | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Flowing Nightglow | Best general fit: combines Energy Regeneration Rate with Robin’s ATK and team damage support. |
| 2 | But the Battle Isn’t Over | Energy and Skill Point utility, with a damage boost for the next ally. |
| 3 | For Tomorrow’s Journey | Accessible ATK and a short personal damage boost after Robin’s Ultimate. |
Prydwen’s rankings are qualitative recommendations; the reviewed material does not establish a controlled comparison across every team and encounter. See Prydwen’s Robin guide for its full build context.
1. Flowing Nightglow: best general choice
Flowing Nightglow is Robin’s signature Light Cone and the broadest fit in this ranking. At S1, each ally attack grants one Cantillation stack, up to five. Each stack raises Robin’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 3%. When she uses her Ultimate, the stacks are removed and Cadenza increases her ATK by 48% and all allies’ damage by 24% for one turn. Higher superimpositions increase the effects.
The attack-triggered Energy Regeneration Rate supports Robin’s Ultimate cycle, while the post-Ultimate ATK and team damage effects reinforce her contribution. Prydwen lists it as a limited Event Warp cone; check the in-game Warp screen for current availability. Flowing Nightglow effects and acquisition listing

2. But the Battle Isn’t Over: Energy and Skill Point utility
At S1, this cone gives Robin 10% Energy Regeneration Rate. When she uses her Ultimate on an ally, it restores one Skill Point, limited to once every two qualifying Ultimates. Its Skill also increases the next ally’s damage for one turn.
Robin does not fully exploit the cone’s primary effect, according to Prydwen, but the Energy, high base stats, and Skill Point support make it a viable alternative. Prydwen lists it under Stellar Warp; that does not guarantee a particular account can obtain it on demand. But the Battle Isn’t Over effects and acquisition listing

3. For Tomorrow’s Journey: accessible ATK and personal damage
At S1, For Tomorrow’s Journey raises ATK by 16%; after Robin uses her Ultimate, it increases her damage by 18% for one turn. At S5, those values rise to 32% ATK and 30% damage.
Prydwen calls it an event Light Cone and lists its source as a Mission Reward. It is a practical pick if you lack the top options, but its post-Ultimate damage bonus is personal: it does not replace Flowing Nightglow’s team damage effect or attack-triggered Energy mechanic. Availability labels may not mean a reward is still claimable on every account. For Tomorrow’s Journey effects and acquisition listing

When a different cone may suit your team
If Time Were a Flower: short fights
Prydwen treats this as a short-fight specialist. It provides starting Energy and can grant a team CRIT DMG buff, but that buff can disappear if Robin takes more than two turns. Its value therefore depends on whether the fight’s timing lets you use the quick start before the effect is lost.
Past Self in Mirror: wave-start team support
This cone supplies Energy to the team at the beginning of each wave and can grant a multi-turn team damage effect after its wearer uses an Ultimate. Consider it for that broader team-support utility rather than as a straightforward upgrade in Robin’s general damage ranking.
Poised to Bloom: two damage dealers on the same Path
Prydwen describes Poised to Bloom as specialized for a team with two damage dealers following the same Path. Its fit depends on having that specific composition.
Meshing Cogs: budget Energy option
HoyoWhatpeon presents Meshing Cogs as an accessible Energy option that may help if Robin’s Ultimate cycle is falling short. The trade-off is that it gives her no ATK for her buff, so it is a rotation-focused choice rather than a top general recommendation. HoyoWhatpeon’s Robin build guide

How to choose for your Robin
- Check your Ultimate timing. If Robin is struggling to get her Ultimate back when the team needs it, prioritize Energy and consider how often allies attack. Flowing Nightglow builds Energy Regeneration Rate from ally attacks; But the Battle Isn’t Over and Meshing Cogs offer other Energy-focused utility.
- Consider what Robin contributes to the team. Flowing Nightglow adds ATK for Robin and a teamwide damage effect. For Tomorrow’s Journey adds ATK and a brief personal damage bonus. But the Battle Isn’t Over can return a Skill Point and boost the next ally’s damage.
- Match specialist effects to the encounter or lineup. A quick-start effect may matter more in a short fight, while Poised to Bloom depends on two damage dealers sharing a Path.
- Factor in ownership and superimposition. Use the strongest suitable cone you already have; a limited banner listing is not a promise of current availability, and effect values can change at higher superimpositions.
The ranking should be read as a practical general order, not a guarantee that the first cone wins in every team or fight. Guide recommendations and usage snapshots are version-sensitive, and player usage figures from a scanned sample should not be treated as representative of the whole player population.
