Short answer: Roblox’s safety rules support using only the real Roblox experience listing and Roblox’s own payment or transfer interfaces—but the current listing, operator, and donation setup for PLS DONATE have not been confirmed here. That means no one should treat every listing or donation promise using that name as verified. Avoid free-Robux offers, password requests, and off-site payment links.
What “legit” means for PLS DONATE
There are three separate questions: whether you found the intended Roblox experience, whether a donation is handled through Roblox, and whether someone is trying to steal your account or arrange an unprotected deal. A positive answer to one does not settle the others.
Roblox says experiences and other content are created by users, so the platform’s general rules do not verify a particular listing or its operator. The current PLS DONATE listing, owner, and donation implementation have not been confirmed. Check the experience inside Roblox and assess the exact transaction route rather than assuming that every game or interaction using the name is authentic. Roblox’s experience guidance
How to check a listing or donation request
- Find the experience within Roblox. Use Roblox’s own app or website and inspect the listing there. Do not rely on a link sent in chat or on a third-party site to establish that a listing is genuine.
- Keep the transaction on Roblox. A purchase or transfer should use Roblox’s own interface. A request to pay through another site or make an informal deal is not protected by Roblox’s official Trade and Sell features. Roblox says it cannot enforce an outside deal or return Robux or items lost when such a deal is broken. Roblox’s trading-scam guidance
- Reject password requests and suspicious links. Do not enter your Roblox password into a game prompt, message link, or unfamiliar form. Roblox says to use only its official websites or the official app login screen. Phishing can result in stolen credentials and lost Robux or items. Roblox’s phishing guidance
- Report suspicious activity. Roblox advises reporting suspicious messages, links, and experiences through its reporting tools. If you are younger, involve a parent or guardian before spending Robux. Roblox’s free-Robux guidance
What Roblox’s donation-game rule change means
Explanations that rely on one experience selling another experience’s developer products or passes may be out of date. In an official Creator Forum announcement published May 4, 2026, Roblox said it would end cross-game sales of developer products and passes at the end of May 2026 and direct affected donation and tipping experiences toward its Transfers API. The announcement gives May 29 as the cutoff; Creator Hub documentation says cross-game pass sales are disabled starting May 30. Roblox’s Creator Forum announcement · Roblox Creator Hub documentation

Roblox says Transfers API transactions are processed and managed by Roblox, and its announcement says senders must have Roblox Plus. Roblox Support states that Plus became globally available on April 30, 2026, and lists sending Robux as a benefit. These rules explain the platform’s current direction; they do not establish that PLS DONATE has migrated to the API or that a particular donation request uses it. Scam signals Roblox specifically warns about
- “Free Robux” or valuable-item promises: Roblox identifies offers of free Robux, subscriptions, or valuable items as scams. Do not follow a link or share credentials to claim one. Roblox’s free-Robux guidance
- Off-site login pages: A page asking for Roblox credentials outside the official Roblox website or app login screen is a phishing risk. Roblox’s phishing guidance
- Deals outside Roblox’s official trading features: Roblox says these deals are not enforceable, and it cannot return items or Robux if the other party does not follow through. Roblox’s trading-scam guidance
What you can and cannot conclude
Roblox’s policies provide useful safeguards for evaluating a donation request, but they do not certify a particular PLS DONATE listing or guarantee that a displayed donation reached its intended recipient. Treat the exact listing and payment flow as the things to verify, and do not rely on explanations based on cross-game pass sales after Roblox’s May 2026 change. Roblox’s Terms of Use, effective May 19, 2026, describe virtual content and in-experience purchases as acquired on Roblox Services and reserve the right to deduct or withhold earned Robux in certain complaint-related returns.
