Stellar Blade launched on PS5 on April 26, 2024, and on PC on June 11, 2025 (June 12 in some regions, depending on local timing). The game is a single-player action adventure with fast-paced combat. Edition names and prices depend on when and where you buy: the PS5 launch lineup had Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, while the current US PlayStation Store listings reviewed show Standard and Complete Edition.

Which editions are available?
The edition labels changed after launch. PlayStation’s January 2024 announcement described the original PS5 launch lineup; the US PlayStation Store pages reviewed on October 8, 2026 list Standard and Complete Edition. Check the store for the price and content shown in your region at purchase time.

Physical or digital?
PlayStation confirms a PS5 Blu-ray release as well as digital purchase. The existence of a physical edition does not establish its current stock or price, and a digital Complete Edition’s listed content should not be assumed to come with a disc bundle. Confirm the edition and included items in the retailer’s own listing.
What were the preorder bonuses?
For the 2024 launch, PlayStation said preordering any version would unlock three cosmetics early:
- Planet Diving Suit for EVE
- Classic Round Glasses for EVE
- Ear Armor Earrings for EVE
The launch Digital Deluxe Edition also included those preorder incentives and the following additional items: Stargazer Suit for EVE, Stargazer Wear for Adam, Stargazer Coat for Lily, Half-Rim Glasses and Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for EVE, Stargazer Pack for the Drone, 2,000 SP EXP, and 5,000 Gold. These are launch-announced contents; they do not confirm that a current store or retailer still grants the preorder items. Check a seller’s current listing for explicit bonus terms.

What kind of game is Stellar Blade?
PlayStation describes Stellar Blade as a story-driven, single-player action adventure with RPG elements. EVE, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad, arrives from a space Colony on a devastated Earth and is tasked with reclaiming it from the Naytiba. PlayStation’s official game FAQ calls it “a single-player adventure.”

Combat centers on attacking, defending, and evading while learning enemy patterns and responding precisely. PlayStation notes challenging boss fights and two difficulty settings. Those details describe the game’s combat approach; the official page does not identify the settings by name in the information cited here.
What accessibility options does PlayStation list?
PlayStation highlights options for visual comfort, including disabling camera movements and effects that may cause discomfort; adjustable audio levels; advanced subtitles; and options such as playing without motion controls or rapid button presses. Check the current game settings or accessibility listing for the exact controls and availability of each option.

What PC features and requirements are listed?
PlayStation’s PC announcement lists support for ultrawide 21:9 and super ultrawide 32:9 displays, an unlocked frame rate, high-resolution textures, and full key customization for gamepads, keyboards, and mice. Graphics and latency features include NVIDIA DLSS 4 upscaling and frame generation, DLAA, Reflex, and AMD FSR 3. DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers are supported; a wired connection is required to use all DualSense features on PC.
