You can play MLB The Show 26 on a PC by streaming it, but the official platform materials reviewed list no native Windows PC version. The two routes are Xbox Cloud Gaming, which does not require a local Xbox console, and PS Remote Play, which streams from a PS5 you can access. Neither installs or runs a PC edition.
Is MLB The Show 26 available on PC?
As of October 8, 2026, official platform listings name PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch—not Windows PC. MLB The Show 26 launched on March 17, 2026, with early access beginning March 13, according to PlayStation Support. The official pages reviewed do not list a native PC release; that does not establish whether a PC version might be announced later.

The game is not available on PS4, either. PlayStation’s MLB The Show FAQ says it is available for PS5 but not PS4, and notes that the Switch version is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Cross-play among supported consoles does not mean there is a PC edition.
Choose how to stream it to your PC

Option 1: Play through Xbox Cloud Gaming
The Xbox MLB The Show 26 listing identifies the game as cloud playable with Xbox Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate, and explicitly says a game purchase is required. A subscription alone should not be treated as including the game. The listing also identifies controller play and warns that network-provider fees may apply.
- Check the live Xbox game listing and Microsoft’s cloud guidance for your country, PC, and preferred browser or app. Cloud catalogs, supported devices, and regional eligibility can change.
- Sign in with the Xbox account you intend to use, and make sure your account has an eligible active Game Pass tier.
- Purchase MLB The Show 26 for that account if you do not already own it; the cloud listing requires a purchase.
- Connect a compatible controller, launch the cloud session, and check that your connection is stable enough for streaming.
This is the route to consider if you do not own a console. It remains cloud streaming, not a PC download, and it is only an option where the service, device, plan, and game are available.

Option 2: Stream your PS5 with PS Remote Play
PS Remote Play lets a PC or Mac control a PS5 or PS4 over a high-speed internet connection, but MLB The Show 26 itself requires a PS5. PlayStation’s game FAQ rules out PS4 for this title, and the game listing marks Remote Play as supported. You need access to the PS5 and the game; Remote Play does not provide either one.
- On your PC, install the PS Remote Play app and sign in to the same PlayStation account used on the PS5.
- On the PS5, enable Remote Play in the console settings.
- Connect a supported DualSense, DualSense Edge, or DualShock 4 controller by USB, then follow the app to connect to the PS5.
- Start MLB The Show 26 on the console and play through the Remote Play stream.
Check the PC and network requirements
Sony’s current Remote Play setup guide lists these PC requirements. Confirm its live requirements before setup because they can change.

The same guide lists macOS Big Sur through Tahoe, at least 2 GB RAM, and 40 MB storage for Mac. Sony recommends at least 5 Mbps upload and download for standard performance, and 15 Mbps upload and download for best performance. These are connection recommendations, not a guarantee of a particular stream quality.

Being able to stream the game does not necessarily satisfy the online requirements for every mode. The MLB The Show 26 manual says an internet connection is required for all Diamond Dynasty sub-modes. It also specifies these platform requirements for certain online modes:

Which PC route should you use?
- Choose Xbox Cloud Gaming if you have no console, the game and service are available for your region and device, and you meet the subscription and purchase requirements.
- Choose PS Remote Play if you have access to a PS5 with MLB The Show 26 and want to control that console from your PC.
- If you want a game that installs and runs natively on Windows, neither route meets that need; the official platform materials reviewed do not list a PC edition.
