What is Endless Ocean Luminous?
Endless Ocean Luminous is a Nintendo Switch underwater exploration game set in the Veiled Sea, a region Nintendo describes as changing between visits. The central activity is discovering marine life and scanning it to build a record of what you find. Nintendo advertises more than 500 species, including creatures it describes as presumed extinct or mythical; that figure is Nintendo’s product-page claim, not an independently verified species count. The story mode, called Research Expeditions, asks players to help save the World Coral.
