Which graphics modes are available on console?
Take-Two’s platform announcement lists three modes for PS5 and Xbox Series X, and two for Xbox Series S. The frame rates below are publisher targets, not guarantees of locked or sustained performance.

These specifications are from Take-Two’s platform announcement. The resolution and frame-rate descriptions are targets and mode specifications, not independent measurements of how the game performs in every scene.
Should you choose Fidelity, Performance, or Performance RT?
Choose Performance RT for the balanced option
On PS5 and Xbox Series X, Performance RT combines ray tracing with a 60-FPS target. It is the sensible starting point if you want a smoother-feeling game without giving up ray-traced visuals. If you prefer the cleanest possible image and accept the lower frame-rate target, switch to Fidelity; if responsiveness matters more than ray tracing, use Performance.

Choose Fidelity for image quality
Fidelity enables ray tracing on PS5 and Series X and targets native 4K at 30 FPS. On Series S, it targets 30 FPS with upscaled 4K. This mode suits players who value visual quality more than the quicker response associated with a higher frame-rate target.
Choose Performance for responsiveness
Performance targets 60 FPS on all three listed consoles. Take-Two specifies upscaled 4K on PS5 and Series X, and 1080p on Series S. It is the straightforward choice if a higher frame-rate target matters more to you than ray tracing.

What is the best graphics setup on PC?
PC Enhanced offers ray-traced ambient occlusion and global illumination, ray-traced shadows and reflections, and support for AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS, according to its Steam listing. Which combination works best depends on your hardware, resolution, and preferred frame rate; the available information does not establish a universal PC preset.
- Start at your display’s resolution. Choose the resolution you actually play at, then find settings that deliver a stable frame rate suited to your preference.
- Add demanding visual features gradually. Try ray-traced effects one at a time and check whether the resulting image is worth any impact on smoothness.
- Use an upscaler if it suits your system. PC Enhanced lists AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS support. Treat either as an option to test on your own setup, not a guaranteed performance fix.
- Recheck after updates. Rockstar’s requirements page says downloadable content and programming changes can alter system requirements. Its Title Update 1.70 notes include fixes related to ray-tracing performance and graphics-option behavior.
The Enhanced listing also mentions faster loading with SSD and DirectStorage on supported devices. Storage affects loading, not graphics mode quality.

Why older PC settings advice may not apply
NVIDIA’s GTAV graphics and performance guide explains how adjustable settings can affect the game, but it dates from 2015. Its benchmark discussion says results varied by roughly ±5 FPS between runs on its test setup; that is a historical, setup-specific observation, not a current estimate for every PC. Use it for background on settings trade-offs, not as current hardware advice.

No. Take-Two identifies DualSense haptic feedback as a PS5 feature, but a controller does not improve the graphics. An SSD can contribute to faster loading on supported PC devices, as the Enhanced listing describes, but it is not a graphics-setting upgrade.
