Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteTo find the two STALKER 2 preorder gear rewards, complete A Needle in a Haystack, take the journalist’s flash drive from your personal stash to start Seek, and You Shall Find, then search the Tourist Suit stash in Garbage and the Veteran Rifle stash in the Swamps. You must also have the relevant preorder entitlement: discovering a stash alone does not prove that it will grant the preorder reward.
Start the Journalist Stash quest
- Complete the main mission A Needle in a Haystack.
- Check your personal stash for the journalist’s flash drive and take it. This starts Seek, and You Shall Find.
- Use the Journalist Stash markers revealed by the quest, then search the reward locations below.
Walkthroughs describe Journalist Stashes as the way to retrieve DLC items, but the reward depends on the content entitlement on your account. Finding a stash is not, by itself, confirmation that you own the historical preorder bonus.
Tourist Suit location: Maze Journalist Stash in Garbage
The Tourist Suit is in the Maze Journalist Stash in the Garbage region. Game8 places the container between a blue vehicle and a red tanker. [Game8’s Journalist Stash locations guide]
Veteran Rifle location: Journalist Stash in the Swamps
The Veteran Rifle is in a Journalist Stash in the Swamps. The available walkthrough identifies the region but does not establish a more precise landmark or route, so follow the quest marker and search the stash locations shown in-game. [Game8’s Journalist Stash locations guide]

Which rewards are preorder bonuses?
GSC Game World’s November 6, 2024 announcement lists the “Veteran” Rifle and “Tourist” Suit as preorder bonuses, alongside the unique “Stalker” Backpack and campfire extras: guitar tunes and additional stories. The official support article likewise describes exclusive weapon and armor rewards, a backpack patch, and campfire content. The backpack and campfire extras are separate from the two stash locations covered above. [GSC Game World’s preorder announcement] [STALKER 2 support: Pre-Order Bonuses]

Do not assume that a current copy grants the historical preorder package. GSC’s editions article, dated November 15, 2024, describes the edition contents as announced at that time; it is not evidence that a new preorder is available or that a current purchase includes preorder entitlements. The official editions page lists a Standard PS5 Edition, but current retailer stock and bonus eligibility are not established here.
