These are camouflaged yellow duck collectibles, and you register each one by shooting it. Collecting all 64 unlocks the It’s Duck Season trophy/achievement and AT-Camo. The numbered route below follows the Gamer Guides location list, which gives the count, the location names and the order. PowerPyx’s “64 Ga-Ko Locations” guide independently agrees on the count, the collection method and the rewards.
How GA-KO collection works
- GA-KOs are separate from the Kerotan frog collectibles that return from the original game.
- You shoot each GA-KO with a gun. PowerPyx reports that a collected GA-KO makes a sound, appears on the map and adds to the count shown in the pause menu.
- Use the pause-menu count after each shot to confirm the duck registered before you move on.
Before you start
- Several GA-KOs can be missed once you advance through an area or finish a boss encounter. The route below marks these pickups where they occur.
- PowerPyx advises saving manually often, especially before scene changes. It reports that the game has no chapter select.
- PowerPyx also reports that collectible progress carries over between playthroughs.
- Konami’s release information lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam versions. The game released on 28 August 2025. Gamer Guides last updated its location page on 27 May 2026, so check it if a location seems to have changed after a patch.
Full GA-KO route, 1 to 64
The route runs in story order. Numbers match the Gamer Guides sequence. For screenshots and fine-grained placement, especially on ducks that sit in visually busy spots, use the linked Gamer Guides text guide.
Operation Virtuous: GA-KOs 1 to 5
These five are exclusive to Operation Virtuous. Collect them before you approach the Rassvet objective.
- GA-KO 1: Dremuchij South, first visit.
- GA-KO 2: Dremuchij Swampland, first visit.
- GA-KO 3: Dremuchij North, first visit.
- GA-KO 4: Dolinovodno, first visit.
- GA-KO 5: Rassvet 1F, first visit.
Operation Snake Eater return: GA-KOs 6 to 11
The Snake Eater return uses a different set of ducks from the first operation. Backtrack through the early areas. Gamer Guides warns that the first Dremuchij East GA-KO is missable once you slide down into the next area.
- GA-KO 6: Dremuchij East.
- GA-KO 7: Rassvet.
- GA-KO 8: Dolinovodno.
- GA-KO 9: Dremuchij North.
- GA-KO 10: Dremuchij Swampland.
- GA-KO 11: Dremuchij South.
Chyornyj Prud and Bolshaya Past: GA-KOs 12 to 15
Collect 12 to 14 before you enter the Crevice. GA-KO 15 is found during the Ocelot encounter. Winning that encounter closes off the earlier areas.
- GA-KO 12: Chyornyj Prud.
- GA-KO 13: Bolshaya Past South.
- GA-KO 14: Bolshaya Past Base.
- GA-KO 15: Bolshaya Past Crevice, during the Ocelot encounter.
Chyornaya Peschera and Ponizovje: GA-KOs 16 to 22
- GA-KOs 16 and 17: Chyornaya Peschera Cave Branch (two ducks).
- GA-KO 18: Chyornaya Peschera Cave Entrance.
- GA-KO 19: Ponizovje South.
- GA-KO 20: Ponizovje West.
- GA-KO 21: Ponizovje Warehouse: Exterior.
- GA-KO 22: Ponizovje Warehouse.
Graniny Gorki: GA-KOs 23 to 28
- GA-KO 23: Graniny Gorki South.
- GA-KOs 24 and 25: Graniny Gorki Lab Exterior (two ducks).
- GA-KO 26: Graniny Gorki Lab 1F/2F.
- GA-KO 27: Graniny Gorki Lab B1 East.
- GA-KO 28: Graniny Gorki Lab B1 West.
Svyatogornyj, Sokrovenno and Krasnogorje Tunnel: GA-KOs 29 to 35
The three Sokrovenno ducks can be collected during or after The End encounter.

GA-KO 41 is the one to watch. It sits in the Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel during The Fury encounter, and Gamer Guides warns that the area is no longer accessible once The Fury is defeated. Collect it before that fight.
- GA-KO 36: Krasnogorje Mountain Base.
- GA-KO 37: Krasnogorje Mountainside.
- GA-KO 38: Krasnogorje Mountaintop.
- GA-KO 39: Krasnogorje Mountaintop: Behind Ruins.
- GA-KO 40: Krasnogorje Mountaintop Ruins.
- GA-KO 41: Groznyj Grad Underground Tunnel, during The Fury encounter.
Groznyj Grad and Tikhogornyj: GA-KOs 42 to 52
GA-KO 52 is found on Groznyj Grad B1F during Volgin’s encounter.

Eva’s chase and the final areas: GA-KOs 53 to 64
GA-KOs 53 to 61 are collected during Eva’s chase sequence, so they cannot be treated like stationary pickups. Save at each new scene and check the pause-menu count after every shot. Gamer Guides notes that the SVD is useful for many of the chase targets, and that other weapons sometimes help.

- GA-KOs 55 and 56: Groznyj Grad Runway, chase scenes 1 and 2.

- GA-KO 59: Groznyj Grad Rail Bridge North, motorcycle chase.

Using a text guide or a video
Gamer Guides provides both a text route with screenshots and a timestamped video index covering all 64 ducks. When you pick between them, check three things: whether the source shows the exact sightline for each duck, whether it keeps story order and warns about one-way transitions, and whether you can jump straight to a missed number. The text route is the better choice for the visually ambiguous placements, and the video index is faster when you are hunting one specific missed duck.
Rewards
Collecting all 64 GA-KOs unlocks the It’s Duck Season trophy/achievement and AT-Camo. Both sources describe these as the reward for the full set.
