For Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 2 “Search Golden Llamas” quest, Golden Llamas had no fixed spawn locations: the March 11, 2025 guide says they could appear anywhere on the map. Search as you travel rather than heading to a supposed guaranteed spot. That guide says the challenge required finding three. It does not confirm whether the quest or those spawn rules are current as of October 8, 2026.
Where do Golden Llamas spawn?
They could appear anywhere on the Chapter 6 Season 2 map, with no set spawn locations, according to the March 11, 2025 quest guide. That means a named landmark or route cannot be treated as a guaranteed spawn point. The source does not provide a spawn probability.

How many Golden Llamas did the quest require?
The quest was titled “Search Golden Llamas,” and the guide describes the objective as searching three. Because the location was not fixed, the practical approach was to cover ground and keep looking while moving through the map. Launch Pads or a vehicle can help you travel faster, but they do not reveal or guarantee a llama.
Is this Golden Llama quest still active?
The available location guide is specific to Chapter 6 Season 2 in March 2025. No current official source cited here confirms that the quest remains active, or that the same spawn behavior applies in the season live on October 8, 2026. Treat the location advice as historical guidance for that quest, not a confirmation of current-season mechanics.

Are Golden Llamas the same as other Fortnite llamas?
Not necessarily. Epic’s v3.3 patch notes describe ordinary Battle Royale Supply Llamas as randomly located and extremely rare; their historical figure of “3 created per match” dates to 2018 and is not a Golden Llama quest spawn rate. Epic’s v5.30 patch notes also specify 30 Supply Llamas per match in the limited-time Score Royale mode, a mode-specific historical rule rather than a general count.
Save the World uses a different llama interface. Epic says its Llamas tab was renamed Exchange in its support article. That interface is separate from Battle Royale map-spawn quests.
