The only Forza Horizon 6 preorder open as of October 8, 2026 is for PS5. The Xbox Series X|S and PC versions launched on May 19, 2026, so there is nothing to preorder on those platforms: you can buy and play them now through the Microsoft Store, the Xbox app, or Steam. The PS5 version is due January 26, 2027, with Premium Edition early access starting five days earlier, on January 21, 2027. The official announcement is Forza Horizon 6 Welcomes More Players on January 26! (Playground Games, October 8, 2026), and the current product page is at forza.net/forzahorizon6.
How to preorder the PS5 version
PS5 preorders are the only ones currently open. There are two ways to buy: a digital copy from the PlayStation Store, or a physical disc from a retailer that carries it.
Digital preorder on the PlayStation Store
- Open the official PS5 preorder announcement at forza.net/news/forza-horizon-6-pre-order-ps5, which links to the PlayStation Store listing.
- Choose the edition you want: Standard, Deluxe, or Premium. Each is listed in the edition table below.
- Complete the purchase in the PlayStation Store. The listing shows the price and the release date for the edition you selected.
- After you start the game and complete the prologue, redeem the pre-tuned Ferrari J50. The publisher states that every PS5 edition preorder includes this car.
Physical PS5 disc
The publisher confirms that a PS5 disc edition will be sold at supporting retailers. The official announcement does not name those retailers, and it does not give prices. Before you buy, check the retailer listing for:
- The region the disc is made for and whether it matches your console.
- The edition (Standard, Deluxe, or Premium), since disc listings can differ.
- Current price, stock status, and the expected delivery date. Delivery can’t be expected before January 26, 2027 for Standard and Deluxe, or January 21, 2027 for Premium.
PS5 editions and what each includes
The three editions differ in add-ons and in when PS5 owners can start playing. The official announcement does not state prices for any edition.
