Ubisoft ties games and in-game content to that account. If it’s the right account, clear the launcher’s cache and restart Ubisoft Connect PC. If the title is still missing, contact Ubisoft Support with proof of purchase.
1. Check which Ubisoft account owns or claimed the game
Ubisoft says a game redeemed on another Ubisoft account will not appear in the library of the account you’re currently using. Sign out and check the account name for the account you used when you bought, activated, or redeemed the title. Ubisoft’s guidance is specific to Ubisoft Connect PC: Game not appearing in Ubisoft Connect PC.
Think about how you obtained the game before troubleshooting further:
- Direct purchase or key: Use the receipt or redemption record to identify the Ubisoft account where it was activated.
- Subscription catalog: Check that the game was claimed through the subscription process and that access is still active.
- Another PC storefront: Check which Ubisoft account was connected or used when launching the game.
2. Clear the Ubisoft Connect PC cache
If you have confirmed the account is correct, Ubisoft recommends emptying the Ubisoft Connect PC cache, then restarting the launcher and checking the library again. Ubisoft describes the cache as storing frequently used data; clearing it may help with technical issues, but it is not a guaranteed fix. 3. Check linked platform accounts before changing them
A platform account may already be associated with a different Ubisoft account. Ubisoft warns that linking or unlinking external accounts can have a permanent impact on games and subscriptions. Its guidance says you can relink only the platform account originally connected; if you need to link a different one, contact Ubisoft Support rather than unlinking accounts as a routine library fix. 4. If you use a subscription, verify the claim and active access
Subscription access is different from owning a permanent purchase. For PC Game Pass, Ubisoft says you must claim Ubisoft games to access them through Ubisoft Connect PC and the Xbox app for Windows PC. Access to Ubisoft games and discounts is available while the subscription is active. Check the claim and membership status in the relevant services; the catalog can vary by plan, region, platform, and time, so this does not establish that a particular game is currently included. 5. Is the game missing, or is its download failing?
If the title appears in your library but will not download, that is a different problem from a missing ownership record. Ubisoft recommends checking your internet connection, available storage, application permissions, whether Ubisoft Connect PC is up to date, and whether service maintenance or degradation is affecting downloads. Insufficient free space can prevent a download, but adding storage cannot restore a game entitlement or correct an account mismatch. 6. Contact Ubisoft Support if the game is still absent
If you are on the correct account and clearing the cache did not bring the game back, Ubisoft’s missing-game guidance is to contact support and attach a screenshot of proof of purchase. Should you reinstall Ubisoft Connect?
Reinstalling the launcher is a later troubleshooting step, not the first response to a missing library entry. Ubisoft advises closing the launcher and backing up save files before uninstalling. During removal, you can choose whether to keep or remove installed games and local saves. Review Ubisoft’s uninstall instructions before proceeding.
