It highlighted your most-played genre, combined playtime, busiest gaming month and other personal stats—but the activity shown only ran through November 30, 2024, not the full calendar year. Nintendo called the recap available for a limited time and did not give an end date, so current access to the original page is not guaranteed.
What Nintendo Switch Year in Review 2024 showed
The recap presented personalized Nintendo Switch activity, including your most-played genre, combined playtime for the year and busiest gaming month. Nintendo also let users choose a favorite game and share their recap. These were individual account statistics, not published totals or averages for all Switch players.
Nintendo’s announcement described the recap as a way to revisit “the games you’ve played on the Nintendo Switch this year.” The displayed activity data was current only through November 30, 2024. Nintendo’s Year in Review announcement states: “The data displayed on this page represents Nintendo Switch activity as of November 30, 2024.”
Can you still open the 2024 recap?
Nintendo described the Year in Review content as available for a limited time, but its announcement did not specify when access would end. It does not establish that the original recap can still be opened today. If its page is no longer available, Nintendo’s current playtime tools can show recent activity, but they are not a replacement for the full 2024 recap.

How to check recent Nintendo Switch playtime
Nintendo Support documents several ways to review play activity. A console profile shows total playtime for up to 20 games played most recently; Nintendo also documents checking activity through the Nintendo Switch App and Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app. The current app functions and labels may change, so follow Nintendo’s official instructions for checking playtime and usage activity.
For the most up-to-date Nintendo Account play activity, Nintendo says the console should be connected to the internet.
