Neoseeker’s Ripper Drill Site Locations – Borderlands 4 Walkthrough describes following one of the looping roads to a Ripper camp, then entering a pit near a checkpoint and ammunition vending machine. Treat those as landmarks rather than precise turn-by-turn directions: the available guides do not provide coordinates or an official map.

What happens at the drill site?
Saw’s Clench is an arena encounter. Defeat successive waves of Rippers, then fight the Rippa Roadbirds, a trio consisting of Gruntabulous Vork, Baby Grunt, and Lil’ Grunt. The encounter and boss names are described in guides from PC Gamer and Game8.

Can Saw’s Clench drop the Wombo Combo?
Guides report that the Rippa Roadbirds can drop the Wombo Combo, a legendary assault rifle. Game8 describes its “Rip Rockets” effect as rockets firing automatically from the underbarrel; PC Gamer characterizes it as combining an assault-rifle barrel with a grenade-launcher barrel. Neither guide establishes a dependable drop probability, so expect that you may need repeated attempts and that a clear does not guarantee the weapon.

After your first clear, use the nearby Moxxi’s Big Encore machine to challenge the bosses again. This gives you a repeat-attempt option at the site if you are pursuing the reported Wombo Combo drop.

PC Gamer notes that leaving the arena can be awkward and describes using a vehicle jump followed by a midair dismount to regain a ledge. That is a reported workaround, not a confirmed universal route; the terrain or traversal options available to you may differ.
