What did the Lighter leak reveal?
Icy Veins published its preliminary Lighter kit report on September 28, 2024, before his release. It described him as a Fire Stun character whose mechanics could support Fire and Ice damage dealers. The report highlighted damage buffs for those elements, resistance reduction, and longer stun windows. Read the September 2024 leak report.
Those points should be read as claims circulating in leak coverage at the time, not as official HoYoverse confirmation. A separate September 2024 report also summarized leaked attacks and Mindscape effects, but the leak lineage was not independently authenticated in the sources consulted. Precise beta details are especially unsuitable as settled facts because test versions can change.
What is Lighter’s released role and kit?
Lighter is a released S-Rank Fire Stun Agent and a Champion of the Sons of Calydon. The updated Icy Veins character guide describes his kit as using Morale and a Morale Burst state. It also describes Fire and Ice resistance reduction, a stun extension effect called Collapse, and squad Fire and Ice damage buffs when his additional-ability condition is met. The broad overlap with the old leak is clear: both descriptions center on Fire Stun gameplay and ways to help Fire and Ice teammates. That similarity does not establish that every leak-era attack, value, or Mindscape effect survived unchanged into the released version. For current ability details, use a guide for the released kit rather than the 2024 leak report.
Can Lighter support Ice teams?
Yes, according to the released-kit description in Icy Veins’ guide: Lighter can reduce Ice resistance and provide an Ice damage buff to the squad when his additional-ability condition is satisfied. That makes Ice-team utility part of his described support package, despite his own Fire attribute. The condition matters; the buff should not be treated as unconditional.

His described contributions are not limited to elemental support. As a Stun Agent, he can help create longer stun windows through Collapse, while his Fire and Ice debuffs and qualifying squad buffs can complement damage dealers of either element. Those are kit descriptions, not a guarantee that he is optimal for every team or encounter.

Is Lighter currently available on a banner?
Banner availability changes over time. Icy Veins’ character profile, updated July 28, 2026, reported that Lighter was last available in Version 1.7 and was not then on a banner. Treat that as a dated status, not a permanent availability statement; check the in-game channel or a current banner notice for the live schedule.
For context, HoYoverse published an official overview of Version 3.1 in 2026, showing that the game continued receiving updates after Lighter’s debut. That overview does not establish his current banner status. HoYoverse’s official news page.
