What the Minun Timed Research required
- Event: Magnetic Study, a Pokémon GO event held in October 2024.

How the daily deadline worked
Timed Research for Magnetic Study was tied to a single calendar day rather than to the length of the event. Two details matter for reading the deadline correctly:
- The cutoff was 11:59 p.m. in the time zone set on the device playing the game, not a universal Pokémon GO server time. Players in other regions had their cutoff at their own local midnight.
- Catching the five Pokémon was not enough on its own. The encounter reward also had to be claimed before the cutoff, so a player who finished the task late in the day needed to check the reward screen before midnight.
Current status of the event
The Minun research can no longer be completed or claimed through Magnetic Study. Its deadline passed on October 17, 2024, and the event itself has closed. If you are trying to learn how a past Minun research worked, the task, reward and deadline above are the parts that are established by the sources.
What this guide does not cover
The sources used for this guide do not confirm the event’s overall start and end times, its full bonus list, every Pokémon that appeared during the event, or its complete Field Research list.
