“Almost complete” is a claim attributed to a reported Titanfall 3 leak—not a confirmation from EA or Respawn. What the Titanfall 3 leak claimed
Destructoid reported on April 9, 2025 that Apex Legends leaker Osvaldatore had shared claims about a possible Titanfall 3. The reported post used the phrase “Almost complete” and listed the following alleged details. None has been verified as a specification for an announced game.

- Multiplayer: a live-service approach with battle passes.
- Main mode: Extraction, with Team Deathmatch (TDM), Control and Arenas also mentioned.
- Returning content: “all Titanfall 2 classic modes” and some Apex Legends characters.
- World feature: a weather system.
The report also described an edited image bearing the phrase “Escape From The Frontier: Titanfall 3.” That image does not establish an official game title or mode name. Destructoid’s April 9, 2025 report is the source for the leak’s wording and feature list.
Why the leak is disputed
ComicBook.com reported that industry journalist Jeff Grubb called the leak “not real.” That is a reported rebuttal, not an official statement from EA or Respawn. ComicBook.com also said neither company had made a definitive comment about Titanfall 3 at the time. Its April 9, 2025 report documents the exchange.

Dexerto’s report from the same date likewise said EA and Respawn had not commented on the rumor. It noted that the leaker did not provide an announcement or release date, citing uncertainty about those details. Is Titanfall 3 confirmed, and when is it coming out?
The reports reviewed do not establish an official Titanfall 3 announcement, release date, platforms, price or product listing. They also do not establish whether EA or Respawn made a later statement after the April 2025 coverage. Treat “Titanfall 3 release date” as unanswered, rather than assuming the leak’s “Almost complete” wording signals a launch window.
That distinction matters: a claimed development status is not proof that a game is announced, nearing release or available to buy. Titanfall 2 is the previous installment, but its existence is not evidence that Titanfall 3 has been released. Titanfall 2’s EA game page is for the existing game only.

“Titanfall 3 campaign”
The single-player campaign appears in the reported leak, but no reviewed source verifies that Titanfall 3 has one. The claim should not be treated as a confirmed feature.
“Titanfall 3 multiplayer”
Extraction as the main mode, TDM, Control, Arenas, live-service multiplayer, battle passes and returning Titanfall 2 modes are all leak-attributed claims. The reports do not verify a multiplayer design or monetization plan.
“Titanfall 3 Apex Legends characters”
The leak reportedly mentioned some returning Apex Legends characters. It did not establish which characters, how they would appear, or whether the detail is real.

How to judge future Titanfall 3 updates
Look for direct confirmation from EA or Respawn, followed by concrete evidence such as an official announcement, product page, platform listing or release information. Until then, distinguish between a leak attribution, a journalist’s reported rebuttal and an official company confirmation; they are different levels of evidence.
If you want to play a released game from the series in the meantime, Titanfall 2 is the previous installment—not Titanfall 3.
