Is the inZOI Character Studio demo still available?

What Character Studio offered
KRAFTON Japan’s announcement described the following features:
- More than 250 customization options, including hair, clothing details, age, nails, height, body type, and skin tone.
- AI Texture, a tool for creating clothing patterns.
- Canvas, an in-product community space for sharing creations.
- Carry-over: KRAFTON said characters and creations made in Character Studio could be used again in inZOI after Early Access began.
The announcement names these features and their dates. It does not rate them against other character creators.

Creative Studio: a separate preview in 2025
The March 2025 Creative Studio was a different event, held about seven months after Character Studio. KRAFTON’s announcement opened with the line “inZOI: Creative Studio has opened today, March 20, at 00:00 UTC!” It let players try Zoi customization and building gameplay before Early Access. What the full game is
inZOI entered Early Access on March 27, 2025. Steam lists it as a life simulation game developed by inZOI Studio and published by KRAFTON. Its description focuses on customizing characters, building houses, and controlling and observing Zois, and it uses the line “Every life becomes a story” (Steam, inZOI product listing). Steam also warns that Early Access games are incomplete and may change. The Character Studio demo was a creator preview, not a standalone character editor, and the full game is a broader product.
Can a demo creation be used in the full game?
KRAFTON stated that creations from both events could be carried into Early Access. The announcements do not confirm whether any specific demo creation loads in the current build, because later patches can change how assets and presets work. To check a creation yourself:
- Confirm which build you are running in your Steam library.
- Read KRAFTON’s news posts for patch notes that mention Character Studio assets, presets, or Canvas.
- Load the creation in the game. If it is missing or fails, check whether a later update changed how that content is handled before assuming the data was lost.
What changed after the demo
KRAFTON’s June 6, 2025 update letter describes later development, including more than 20 added Character Studio assets and more than 100 furniture items (KRAFTON, Kjun’s Letter: A Sneak Peek at the June Gameplay Update). These figures describe that June 2025 update only. They are not a current total of content.
Did Sims fans respond to the demo?
The headline’s claim that Sims fans were excited is framing, not a measured result. KRAFTON’s announcements describe features and dates. They do not report how many people tried the demo, whether the audience was made up of Sims players, or how players reacted. Attribute any specific reaction to a named person or publication, and treat unattributed claims of excitement as unverified.
How inZOI’s creator compares with The Sims
KRAFTON’s announcements establish some inZOI features, including the 250-plus options, Canvas sharing, and carry-over into Early Access. They do not compare those features with The Sims, and no source provided here offers a sourced feature-by-feature comparison. If you run your own comparison, use these criteria:
- Range of customization options
- Visual style
- Body and age controls
- Ease of use

The listing gives more than one viable configuration for Windows, and it includes Apple silicon. The recommended RTX 3070 applies to the full game only. It is not a requirement for the historical demo.
