Battlestate Games’ New Year’s Twitch Drops campaign for Escape From Tarkov ran from December 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026. Viewers could earn rewards by watching Twitch streams, and the event covered both PvP and PvE Zone. The campaign is over. It was not live as of October 8, 2026, so any guide that describes it as currently running is out of date.
Campaign dates and time zones
Battlestate announced the event with start and end times in two time zones. The table below keeps the announcement’s own labels, because the end time is written differently from the start time.
| Boundary | GMT | EST | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start: December 22, 2025 | 3:00 PM GMT | 10:00 AM EST | Both time zones are stated in the announcement. |
| End: January 4, 2026 | 3:00 PM (no GMT label given) | 10:00 AM EST | The EST time matches 3:00 PM GMT, but the announcement does not label the end time as GMT. Treat 10:00 AM EST as the clearest reference point. |
Readers outside the Americas and Europe should convert from GMT rather than from a local clock, because the announcement anchors both boundaries to those reference times.
What the announcement confirms
The official English-language announcement on Battlestate Games’ Telegram channel is the primary source for the event. It states three things with enough clarity to repeat:

“Battlestate Games is happy to announce the upcoming launch of the New Year’s Twitch Drops Event!”

How it differs from the January 2025 Twitch promotion
Twitch’s own Drops Fest 2025 announcement covered a separate Escape From Tarkov promotion. It listed subscription drops from January 27 to February 2, 2025, with a Hideout Skin for two subscriptions. That promotion ran about eleven months before the holiday campaign and used a different mechanic. Its terms do not describe the New Year’s event, and the holiday event should not be assumed to share them.
| Promotion | Dates | Mechanic | Modes stated | Reward stated | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| New Year’s Twitch Drops | December 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026 | Watching Twitch streams | PvP and PvE Zone | Not stated in the accessible announcement | Battlestate Games’ official English Telegram announcement |
| Drops Fest 2025 subscription drops | January 27 to February 2, 2025 | Subscriptions | Not stated | Hideout Skin for two subscriptions | Twitch’s Drops Fest 2025 announcement |
Answers to common questions about the holiday event
Did the holiday Drops work in PvE? Battlestate said they did. The announcement states that Drops were available in both PvP and PvE Zone, and it does not describe separate rules for either mode.
Rank #4
Can I still earn these rewards? No. The campaign ended on January 4, 2026. Battlestate has not announced a return of this specific campaign in the sources available for this article, so future Drops should be confirmed through Battlestate’s official channels when they are announced.
