The three answers are Treasure Chest, Pickaxe, and Glider. Each one belongs to a different statue in Nightshift Forest: Treasure Chest at the southern statue beside Bushranger, Pickaxe at the northwestern statue above the lake, and Glider at the northeastern statue. Solving all three completes the stage and reveals the location of the second Meteor Splinter in the middle of the forest.
Where this stage sits in the questline
“Solve Riddles in the Nightshift Forest” is one stage of the Splinters of Possibility story questline in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. The quest listing shows three required interactions, one at each statue, followed by the next objective: collecting the second meteor Splinter. The riddles are therefore a gate to that objective rather than an optional side task.
Riddle answers by statue
Each statue presents a riddle, and the answer is one of three in-game items. Prima Games lists the statue directions, riddle wording, and answers, and The Escapist reproduces the same three riddles and solutions.

How to work through the riddles
The statues are spread across the forest, so plan the route before you start rather than backtracking mid-stage.

- Travel to the southern statue beside Bushranger and select Treasure Chest.
- Move to the northwestern statue above the lake and select Pickaxe.
- Head to the northeastern statue and select Glider.
- Once all three are complete, follow the objective marker to the second meteor Splinter in the middle of Nightshift Forest.
The wrong answer at any statue will not fit the riddle’s description, so match each riddle to the item it describes: a chest holds a prize, a pickaxe cleans and stays with you, and a glider carries you through the sky before you land.
Practical preparation
The Escapist advises players to gear up before they reach the statues, because other players may be attempting the same quest at the same time and the statues are spread out. This is practical guidance from that guide, not a documented requirement of the quest itself.

Character dialogue in the stage
The quest listing attributes two lines to Hope, tied to the Nightshift Forest stage: “This splinter you found, it’s… special. We NEED to find more of them.” and “This is a good start.”
Availability and version
The stage is documented as Chapter 6 Season 1 content, and the guides cited here date from January 2025. Fortnite’s live content changes between seasons and updates, so the stage may no longer be available or may have changed in its current build. Check the in-game quest log or Fortnite’s official news pages before assuming the stage is active.
