Here is the answer sequence players have reported for Google’s Stranger Things scavenger hunt. It is a community-sourced list, not an official or independently verified answer key; match each entry to the clue on your screen, since wording, order, and progression may vary.

Match the answer to the clue you see
- “Will’s Secret Fortress” or the Christmas-lights clue: players point to Castle Byers. One Reddit user specifically asked why the game would not advance after entering the seemingly correct Christmas-lights answer; a reply suggested searching “castle byers.”
- “What analogy did Mr. Clarke use to explain alternate dimensions to the boys?” Community replies connect this to The Acrobat and the Flea.
- “What’s the one that’s called papa’s favorite”: a community reply identifies Henry Creel.
- “close gate” radio Morse-code clue: Close Gate appears in the reported sequence.
- “Lovers Lake picture”: Lover’s Lake appears in the reported sequence.
These clue matches come from player discussions, not an official Google key. Pay close attention to the exact wording on your screen; a report about one version or clue does not confirm the accepted response in every version.

If the answer looks right but the hunt will not advance
A stalled clue does not prove that your answer is wrong. Community posts describe both correct-looking entries that fail to progress and cases where the Google result or its die animation appears but the hunt itself does not load.
- Check the clue wording again and try the matching reported form, especially for the Christmas-lights clue: Castle Byers.
- If the experience itself is not loading, try another browser as a diagnostic. One player reported Scoops Ahoy worked in a browser with less script blocking after Brave failed.
- If you use a content blocker, you could temporarily disable the relevant blocking for the page to test whether it is interfering. This is anecdotal troubleshooting, not official Google guidance.
The reported browser fix is not guaranteed, and community posts do not establish a universal solution for stalled clues.

Is Google’s Stranger Things hunt still available?
Current availability is not established by the sources located for this topic. The official Google instructions found cover Tap Party, a separate balloon-tapping game—not the Stranger Things scavenger hunt. Tap Party’s contest-submission period ended September 20, 2026, and its casual-play period ended September 30, 2026; those dates say nothing about whether the hunt remains accessible. Do not use Tap Party instructions as a guide to this puzzle.
