Treasure Tail: Shinjuku asks you to find seven Orange Tabby treasures around Shinjuku, then return to the cat to finish the hunt. It reportedly unlocks after you complete Treasure Tail: Yongen-Jaya. Use the landmarks below as a checklist: some guides describe individual spots differently, so check nearby interactable objects and interiors if a clue does not produce a treasure.
How to unlock Treasure Tail: Shinjuku
Selphie1999Gaming reports that this is the third treasure hunt and becomes available after completing Treasure Tail: Yongen-Jaya. A notification announces the new mission. This unlock condition is guide-reported rather than confirmed by official quest data.
Where to find all seven Shinjuku treasures
The walkthroughs agree that there are seven treasures, but their descriptions and ordering do not match exactly. Follow these landmarks and use the in-game search prompt where available; inspect nearby shop interiors and containers if the item is not immediately visible.
- Restaurant display: Check the food display by the bar stairs. Another guide describes a restaurant display window in Shinjuku’s northeastern corner and says to enter the restaurant to collect the treasure.
- Club sign: Look behind the small club sign in the western section.
- Izakaya: Enter the Izakaya next to Victory Kitchen. Selphie1999Gaming places it north of the ramen shop.
- Convenience-store area: Check behind the trash can by the Convenience Store; one guide places it south of the store.
- Capsule Machine area: Search the nearby trash and objects beside the Capsule Machine. The location description is not consistent across the guides, so check the surrounding area.
- Jewelry Store: Enter the Jewelry Store, choose “Search for treasure,” and complete the dialogue with the employee.
- Stairs and gray bin: Go northeast of the Jewelry Store, take the stairs up, and search behind the gray bin. Another guide describes a small trash can behind the stairs.
Finish the hunt and collect the reported rewards
When the treasure counter reaches seven, return to the Orange Tabby and interact with the cat. Selphie1999Gaming reports that a call from the Old Man and a meeting with the cat’s friend follow.
