FINAL FANTASY XI Login Points are earned per character when you log in during a Login Campaign. Up to 700 unused points can carry into the following month, and points must be exchanged before that campaign’s separate exchange deadline. To check or spend them, visit a Greeter Moogle in one of the listed locations.
How do I earn Login Points, and do I need to log out for the next day?
Square Enix’s standing Login Campaign rules say players receive points each day they log in during a campaign. Points are tracked separately for each character, not pooled across an account.

The current award schedule is 50 points for each of logins 1–14, a 500-point bonus on login 15, then 100 points per login from login 16 onward.
The rules also describe a daily-reset edge case: if you have already received that day’s points and remain logged in in the same area through the 8:00 a.m. PDT reset, log out or change areas to receive the next day’s points.

Do Login Points expire, and how much can I carry over?
The current rules allow up to 700 unused Login Points to carry over to the following month. Square Enix reiterated that ceiling in its December 2025 Login Campaign notice.
Distribution and exchange have different end dates, and the exchange deadline is specific to each campaign. The current rules state the carryover cap but do not expressly explain what happens to any balance above 700. An older 2015 official forum archive says points left unspent after the exchange period were lost, but that historical statement does not establish the current treatment of balances above the cap.

When is the exchange deadline?
Check the official notice for the specific campaign. As a recent example, the September 2026 campaign notice set point distribution from September 11, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. GMT through October 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. GMT. The exchange period ran from September 11 at 8:00 a.m. GMT through October 12, 2026, at 2:59 p.m. GMT.
Those dates apply only to the September 2026 campaign; they are not an October schedule. The latest located notice as of October 7, 2026, was for September, so check the official campaign announcement for the dates and reward list of any newer cycle rather than inferring them from the prior one.

Where do I check and exchange Login Points?
For your balance, open the Status submenu and select Currencies. To exchange points for campaign rewards, speak to a Greeter Moogle at any of these locations; the official rules say each provides the same service:
