The claim that Mineplex and Hypixel have both acknowledged current server issues and that a fix is in progress is not supported by the sources we checked. Mineplex players reported launch problems in June 2026, but those are player posts, not an official statement. The only Hypixel connectivity notice we found dates from 2023, and it describes a fix that had already been implemented. We found no current official statement from either server.
What the sources show
Mineplex: player reports from the June 2026 launch
A thread on the Mineplex forums titled “Rate The Mineplex Launch” was started on June 13, 2026. Contributors described lag during the launch, queue delays, and disconnects. These are individual accounts from players. The thread is not an incident notice from Mineplex and contains no engineering update. Some posts also guess at launch attendance. Those figures are user estimates, not numbers published by Mineplex, and they should not be cited as official.

Hypixel: a 2023 connectivity notice
The Hypixel result we found is a forum page dated June 3, 2023, under the title “Predict the next Minecraft server to collapse.” The page contains a status line reading “Connectivity Issues since Tuesday 12:09pm EDT,” followed by “A fix has been implemented and we are monitoring the results.” That wording describes a past incident that had been fixed. It does not describe a current outage, and it does not describe a fix still in progress. The notice also sits inside a discussion thread rather than an official status channel, so it cannot establish what Hypixel is saying about any date in 2026.

Terms that are easy to confuse
- Official notice versus player report. An official notice is posted by the server through its own announcement channels and names the problem. A player report is one user’s account, even when many users describe the same symptom. Player reports can show that something is happening; they cannot show that the server has acknowledged it.
- Current versus historical. A dated status line tells you what was true on that date. The 2023 Hypixel notice says nothing about the server in October 2026.
- “Fix underway” versus “fix implemented.” “In the works” means work is still ongoing. “Implemented, monitoring” means the change has already been made and its effects are being watched. The only fix wording we found is the second kind, and it is from 2023.
How to check current server status
- Open the server’s official website and look for an announcements, news, or status section.
- Check the official forum announcements area and the server’s official social accounts for posts from the past few days. Confirm the date printed on each post, not just its position on the page.
- Look for a post that names the problem (for example, “connectivity issues” or “queue delays”) and states whether a fix has been deployed or is still in progress.
- If no official post exists, treat the reported problem as unconfirmed, even if many players are discussing it.
- Before assuming a server fault, rule out your own side: restart your Minecraft client, confirm it matches the version the server currently requires, and check whether other online services on the same connection are working.
As of October 9, 2026, the sources checked contain no current official statement from Mineplex or Hypixel about server issues. The Mineplex reports are from June 2026 and describe launch conditions, and the Hypixel notice is from 2023.
