Quick answer: Open Roblox.com/redeem in a web browser, sign in to the correct Roblox account, enter the gift-card code, and select Redeem (or Canjear in Spanish). A standard Roblox Gift Card normally becomes Roblox Credit, not Robux immediately. From the same page, select Get Robux or Convert Credit to Robux to use the balance.
The standard Roblox app on iPhone, iPad, and Android, as well as consoles, does not provide the gift-card redemption page. The current exception is the Roblox app on Samsung Galaxy, where the path is More > Redeem. This guide reflects Roblox Support information checked on August 10, 2026.
Before you redeem: identify the code and check the account
Do not enter the code until you have confirmed the Roblox username currently signed in. Gift-card value is applied to the account that redeems the code. A common mistake is redeeming it while logged into a parent’s, sibling’s, alternate, or newly created account.

- Check the username and avatar in the browser before submitting the code.
- Keep the physical card, PIN, serial number, and purchase receipt until the balance is visible.
- Use an authorized retailer. Roblox’s official information about card availability is listed in Where Can I Find Roblox Gift Cards?
- In the United States, the gift-card terms require the redeemer to be at least 18 or to have parent or guardian consent. Other countries may have different legal terms.
Also identify what kind of code you have. Roblox codes do not all follow the same post-redemption path:

How to redeem a Roblox Gift Card in a browser
- Open https://www.roblox.com/redeem in a web browser.
- Select Log in or Iniciar sesión, then sign in to the intended Roblox account.
- Enter the gift-card PIN or code exactly as printed. For a digital card, use the code supplied in the email or purchase page.
- Select Redeem or Canjear.
- Wait for the confirmation message before closing the page.
If the redemption succeeds, the standard card’s value is normally stored as Roblox Credit. The code itself is not the balance: the code is the credential you submit, Credit is the stored monetary value, and Robux is the separate Roblox currency you can obtain with that Credit.
Roblox also provides a Spanish version of the instructions, Cómo canjear y gastar tu tarjeta de regalo. Spanish labels may include Canjear, Obtener Robux, and Convertir crédito en Robux.
Can you redeem the card in the Roblox app or on a console?

The Samsung Galaxy route is a specific exception, not a general Android rule. If you cannot find a Redeem button in the iOS, regular Android, or console version, that is expected under Roblox’s current instructions. Roblox Credit is also viewed and spent through web pages; it does not appear as a normal balance inside every version of the app.

Roblox Support currently advertises a free virtual item with Roblox Gift Cards and says new items are issued monthly. However, the associated terms qualify this benefit: virtual items, bonus Robux, and availability can depend on the card, may be limited, replaced, discontinued, or offered only with certain cards. Do not purchase a card expecting a particular item unless that item is explicitly shown with the card. See Roblox’s virtual-item information and the applicable gift-card terms.
How to check your Roblox Credit balance
Roblox Credit is not displayed across every account screen. Use one of these browser locations:
From the redemption page
- Sign in to the account that redeemed the card.
- Open Roblox.com/redeem.
- Look below the Redeem button for Available Credit.
From Billing Settings
- Sign in through the Roblox website.
- Open Settings and then Billing or Billing Settings.
- Look for the balance beside Roblox Credit.
Roblox’s detailed instructions are in Managing and spending your Roblox Credit. If no credit appears, Roblox says the account currently has no redeemed Gift Card Credit. Before entering the code again, check that you are using the same username and that the card did not produce Robux directly.
How to spend Roblox Credit on Robux
The usual route for a standard card is Gift Card → Roblox Credit → Robux. To convert the balance:
- Sign in to the correct account in a browser.
- Open Roblox.com/redeem.
- Select Get Robux or Obtener Robux.
- Review the Robux package and its displayed price.
- Select Buy and confirm the purchase.
The redemption page normally preselects the largest Robux package affordable with the available Credit. If you want a different package, open the Robux purchase page instead and choose the package there. Prices, package sizes, taxes, and regional offers can change, so avoid relying on old tables claiming that a particular dollar amount always buys a fixed number of Robux.
The balance is a payment balance, while Robux is the platform currency. Once the Robux has been added, it can generally be used for supported Roblox services and virtual content such as Marketplace avatar items, in-experience items, game passes, access to experiences, and private-server features where Roblox offers those purchases. Roblox Credit itself is not automatically accepted for every item inside the app or every experience.
What happens to leftover Roblox Credit?
A purchase may leave a small amount of Credit. Roblox may show a prompt asking whether you want to buy more Robux:
- Selecting Buy converts the remaining eligible balance into Robux.
- Selecting Cancel keeps the Credit on the account for later.
If the remainder is too small for a normal Robux package, the redemption page may show Get Robux or Convert Credit to Robux. Select that option when it appears. The Robux balance may not update immediately on the same screen; refresh the page or navigate to another Roblox page and check again.

Do not interpret a missing package button as proof that the Credit disappeared. First check the Available Credit amount on the redemption page or in Billing Settings.
Other ways to use Roblox Credit
Roblox Plus
As of August 10, 2026, Roblox Support lists Gift Card Credit as a payment method for Roblox Plus through the web or desktop purchase flow. Roblox says the subscription can be purchased directly from the Redeem Roblox Gift Cards and Codes page. Availability, price, country, and account eligibility can change.
Roblox Plus itself does not include a standard monthly Robux stipend. Separate Plus 500, Plus 1000, and Plus 2000 bundles include recurring Robux. Roblox’s support page may contain the wording Robux Plus, but the product described there is Roblox Plus.
Do not follow older advice telling new customers to buy Roblox Premium with a gift card. Roblox says Premium stopped being available for new purchase after April 30, 2026, although existing memberships may continue under Roblox’s terms. Subscriptions inside experiences
Some experiences offer subscriptions priced in local currency. Roblox currently says these can be purchased on desktop or in a web browser with a credit/debit card or Roblox Credit, where the feature is available. Availability varies by country, platform, and experience, and some countries are excluded from local-currency purchases.
These subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Treat this as a conditional option, not a promise that Roblox Credit works for every subscription or every in-experience purchase. Details are in Subscriptions within Experiences.
Troubleshooting Roblox Gift Card problems
The code says it is invalid
- Confirm that the correct Roblox account is signed in.
- Re-enter the code manually rather than relying on a blurry photograph or copied text.
- Check characters that are easy to confuse. Roblox recommends checking these substitutions:
0/O,1/I,2/Z,5/S,6/GorQ, and8/B. - Check that the card came from an authorized retailer and that it was activated at purchase when activation is required.
- Keep the receipt and card images. If the error remains, contact Roblox Support rather than repeatedly submitting an uncertain code.
There is no Redeem button
Use a browser and open the direct redemption URL. The button is not available in the standard iPhone, iPad, Android, or console interfaces. On Samsung Galaxy, open the Roblox app and go to More > Redeem. If you are already in a browser but cannot access the page, sign out, sign back in to the intended account, and open the direct URL again.
The code was redeemed on the wrong account
Stop before converting the Credit or spending any Robux. Check the username that was active when the code was submitted, then check other accounts that may have been open in the browser.
Contact Roblox Support with both usernames, the PIN, serial number, receipt, purchase date and amount, and screenshots showing the situation. Roblox’s public guidance recommends contacting Support but does not guarantee that Credit, Robux, or an item can be transferred between accounts.
The Credit balance is missing
Check the redemption page and Billing Settings in a browser, not only the app. Then consider these possibilities:
- The code was redeemed on a different account.
- The card was an Amazon or Party Packs card that produced Robux instead of Credit.
- The redemption failed and no confirmation message appeared.
- You are looking at a general account page where Roblox does not show the Credit balance.
Do not redeem the code a second time until you know whether the first attempt succeeded.

The card is from another country
Roblox’s general gift-card FAQ says Roblox codes can be redeemed worldwide and that value converts automatically to the account’s local currency. However, country-specific terms can impose additional currency or account-location restrictions. For example, Peru’s terms state that a card must be denominated in the same currency as the country where the account is registered, while the U.S. terms address cards purchased outside the United States and redemption into a U.S.-dollar account.

Therefore, do not make an unqualified promise that every card works in every country. If the card and account use different currencies, check the terms for the relevant country, such as the official Spain terms, Mexico terms, or Peru terms.
The digital card PIN or email is missing
Digital cards bought through Roblox.com/shopgiftcards are sold through CashStar. For delivery or digital-purchase problems, Roblox directs users to CashStar support. Have the purchase email and order information available.
A promotional code was never provided
Roblox says it does not issue or reissue codes for promotions run by external retailers. If a retailer’s promotion did not provide a promised code, contact that retailer with the receipt and promotion details.
The Credit is not enough to pay for the item
Roblox Credit cannot be combined with a credit card or another payment method to split one purchase. If the Credit does not cover the selected package or product, you must choose something that fits the balance or use another complete payment method where Roblox offers one. You cannot use Credit to pay part of a transaction and a card to pay the rest.

Refresh the page or navigate to another Roblox page, then check the Robux balance again. Also confirm that the purchase confirmation appeared and that you are still using the account that held the Credit. If the Credit was deducted but the Robux is still missing, save screenshots and contact Roblox Support.

The exact legal rules depend on the country where the card was purchased and the account is used. The following points are specifically based on Roblox’s current U.S. gift-card terms unless otherwise noted:
- No expiration or inactivity fees: U.S. cards do not expire and have no inactivity, maintenance, or service fees.
- No normal refunds: U.S. cards are not refundable or reloadable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
- Redeem the card in full: U.S. terms state that Gift Cards cannot be partially redeemed. This is different from spending the resulting Credit in several transactions.
- No resale: U.S. terms prohibit resale or exchange for cash except where required by law.
- Lost or stolen cards: Lost, damaged, stolen, or unauthorized-use cards generally are not replaced or replenished.
- Prices can change: The Credit amount does not guarantee a fixed number of Robux forever. Robux packages, regional pricing, taxes, and product availability may change.
- Taxes may apply: U.S. purchases may be subject to applicable sales tax, and regional tax rules vary.
Read the terms for your country before relying on a rule about refunds, expiry, currency, or consumer protections. These U.S. terms are not a universal legal rule for every Roblox player.
Can you use multiple Roblox Gift Cards?
Yes. Roblox says multiple cards may be redeemed to the same account, but redeem them one at a time. Each card is applied in full; you cannot split a single card’s value between two accounts. After each redemption, wait for the confirmation and verify the balance before entering the next code.
What information to send Roblox Support
If the code remains invalid, the balance is missing, or the card was applied to the wrong account, submit a request through Roblox Support. Include as much of the following as possible:
- Roblox username or usernames involved.
- Purchase date and amount.
- Retailer name and city.
- Country of residence and the card’s purchase country.
- Gift-card PIN.
- Card serial number.
- Original receipt.
- Images of the front and back of a physical card, or the complete digital gift card.
- A screenshot of the exact error message.
Do not post a full PIN publicly or send it to unofficial recovery services. Use Roblox’s official support form and keep the original card until the issue is resolved.
