Waste Time is a Roblox progression game built around passively earning Time, converting it into Eons, climbing automatic ranks, and unlocking increasingly powerful zones. Stand inside a valid room or zone to generate Time, use the yellow platform in the main lobby to convert 1,000 Time into 1 Eon, and move into each unlocked zone to benefit from its multiplier.
This guide covers the progression system and the currently reported requirements. The Roblox listing does not publish an official version number or changelog, and its current crawl reports no running experiences, so labels and requirements may change.
How Waste Time works
Your main resource is Time. It accumulates automatically while your avatar remains inside a valid room or zone; you do not need to click repeatedly. The game therefore supports AFK progression, provided you stay in an eligible area and remain connected.
Progression has three connected parts:
- Time: earned passively by standing in a valid area.
- Ranks: automatic titles awarded when your accumulated Time reaches set thresholds.
- Eons: made by converting Time at the yellow lobby platform. Each Eon reportedly increases Time gain permanently.
The current game listing is Waste Time, place ID 129548273770183, from creator No time at all. Search results have shown different labels, including “[☁️] Waste Time⏳” and “[24HRS] Waste Time⏳”; these should not be treated as confirmed gameplay versions.

What to do first
- Join the experience and locate a room or starting area where Time begins increasing.
- Stay inside that valid area until you have enough Time for early ranks and your first conversion.
- Return to the main lobby and find the yellow platform.
- Convert Time into Eons at the reported rate of 1,000 Time = 1 Eon.
- After converting, return to the best zone you can currently enter and continue earning.
Converting Time into Eons is reported not to reset your ranks or previously unlocked zones. It is therefore part of normal progression rather than a full wipe. The exact in-game button text and menu path are not documented consistently, so rely on the platform’s visible prompt when you reach the yellow platform.
Eons and the Time-gain boost
Guides consistently report that each Eon grants a permanent +50% Time-gain boost. They describe the bonus as stacking or multiplicative, but the available sources do not provide an official formula or tooltip proving exactly how multiple Eons combine.
In practical terms, converting Time into Eons is worthwhile because the conversion improves future earning speed while preserving your rank and zones. If the game displays a different calculation in its current interface, follow the in-game value rather than assuming a particular stacking formula.
Rank requirements
Ranks are automatic progression titles, not a currency that you spend. The following early and mid-progression thresholds are reported by multiple guides:

Longer tables continue beyond Time Strategist with titles such as Time Eternal, God of Time, Omnipotent, Genesis, Entanglement, The Beginning, The End, Afterlife, and late Zenith-related ranks. These extended titles are reproduced by third-party guides, but no official developer data confirms that list or its current thresholds.
Zone unlock requirements and multipliers
Zones are the most important long-term earning upgrade. The reported requirements and multipliers are:

The abbreviations are reported as follows:
- SX: sextillion
- TD: tredecillion

These are extremely large jumps. In particular, 1 SX is not a small early-game amount; it is vastly beyond the 10M Library requirement.
How to use a zone multiplier
Unlocking a zone does not apply its multiplier everywhere. Your avatar must be physically inside that zone’s boundaries for the reported bonus to affect Time gain. Once inside, AFK earning is reported to continue working, so the usual routine is:

- Enter the corresponding zone through its gate or entrance.
- Confirm that your Time gain is increasing before going AFK.
- Remain inside the zone rather than returning to the lobby.
Guides describe the zones as sequentially unlocked, meaning you should expect to progress through them in order rather than skipping directly to a later gate. The detailed Time requirements are better supported than claims that zones unlock at particular ranks.
Why rank is not the same as a zone requirement
Some guides say that zones unlock at rank thresholds, but more detailed and mutually corroborating guides list direct Time requirements: 10M for The Library, 1 SX for The Future, 1 TD for The End, and 1 TVG for Zenith. Treat the gate’s displayed Time requirement as the relevant condition.
Likewise, claims that 100 Eons unlocks the higher-multiplier zones are not supported by the repeated zone tables. Eons improve your earning speed, but the available evidence identifies Time—not a 100-Eon milestone—as the zone-gate requirement.
Enchantment Area
The Enchantment Area is reported to unlock at 500 Qa Eons. Guides say enchantments provide additional Time multipliers or passive boosts and can be rerolled with Enhancement Rerolls.

The available documentation does not establish the exact reroll interface, cost, odds, or whether every described enchantment is currently available. When you reach the area, check the live in-game prompts before spending rerolls.

- Use a valid room: passive Time requires the avatar to remain in an eligible area.
- Stand inside the highest unlocked zone: the multiplier is positional, not account-wide.
- Check your character before going AFK: displacement outside the zone can stop the expected gain.
- Convert regularly: Eons reportedly preserve progression and improve future Time gain.
- Verify after reconnecting: one guide reports that zone unlocks persist after disconnecting, but this is not officially confirmed and could change with future mechanics.
No retrieved source confirms an anti-idle timer or a precise disconnect timeout. Do not assume an unattended session will remain active indefinitely.
Troubleshooting
My Time is not increasing
Move fully inside the starting room or the zone you intend to use. If your avatar has been pushed outside the valid boundary, passive earning may stop. Also check whether Roblox has disconnected you.
I unlocked a zone but see no boost
Enter the zone itself. The reported multiplier applies while standing inside its boundaries; unlocking the gate alone does not grant a global multiplier.

The Future requirement looks wrong
Check the unit carefully. The reported requirement is 1 SX Time, or one sextillion, not 1M, 1K, or another small abbreviation.
I cannot find the exact menu or button
The available guides do not document a complete current menu path or exact button labels. Look for the yellow conversion platform in the main lobby, the visible zone gate, and the game’s current on-screen interaction prompt. Do not rely on an unverified command guide; no command syntax or permissions are documented by the available sources.
What is currently unverified
The official Roblox listing does not expose an authoritative version number, changelog, deprecation notice, or end-of-support date. It also does not confirm claims about “Update 7,” Chapter 2, gifting, or a definitive [24HRS] or [☁️] version label. Those claims should not be used to identify the current game state.
For the same reason, treat the extended rank list, exact enchantment odds, reroll costs, and long-term save behavior as reported rather than guaranteed. The core loop—passive Time, Eon conversion, automatic ranks, and Time-gated zones—is the most consistently documented part of the game.
