You choose Phyre’s clan from Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra; Paradox says clan choice supports different combat approaches, but its overview does not map every clan to a complete ability set. The route below focuses on “Keep the Peace.” Into Indie Games’ guide, dated October 24, 2025, places the chapter after “A Star of Cold Aspect” and treats three quests as selectable in any order. Its directions and choice recommendations are that author’s account of a playthrough, not official route guarantees (Into Indie Games’ Keep the Peace walkthrough).
Spring Update: check quest categories and eligibility
Paradox’s Spring Update changed the structure players may see in current playthroughs. It moved “The Dutiful Beloved,” “Turning Down The Heat,” “A Plaything Discarded,” “Little Book of Blackmail,” and “Dish of the Day” from the main quest category to side quests. Mrs Thorn’s side quests became exclusive to Tremere, while Niko’s became exclusive to Banu Haqim. Paradox says the change does not affect playthroughs that had already reached “Keep the Peace” before the update (Paradox’s Dev Diary #32: Spring Update).

That means older labels such as “main quest” or “sub-quest” in a walkthrough should not be assumed to describe every current save. The Keep the Peace guide’s three-quest framework is useful as a route description, while the Spring Update is the authority for the later category and clan-eligibility changes.
Before advancing Keep the Peace
Finish any side quests you still want to do before resting at the haven. The guide warns that interacting with the bed to advance “Keep the Peace” makes incomplete side quests unavailable. Treat this as a missable-content checkpoint: clear the optional tasks you care about before using the bed.
Choose an order for the three quests
In the guide’s chapter framework, after “A Star of Cold Aspect” the map offers “Taste and Discretion,” “Turning Down the Heat,” and “The Dutiful Beloved.” The author says they can be selected in any order; the example route takes them in that listed sequence. Because the Spring Update reclassified two of these quests, the framework should be read as the guide’s chapter organization rather than a universal current main-quest list.

Moving through Seattle and handling choices
The guide recommends using Seattle’s alleys and rooftops to move faster between objectives. Its individual quest branches include advice about identifying suitable victims for Nix and avoiding a Masquerade breach at St. Stephens. The author also reports choice suggestions for routes associated with Lou, Katsumi, and a companion outcome. Those are recommendations from that author’s playthrough; the guide’s own disclaimer says its route reflects personal choices, so do not treat those suggestions as a developer-confirmed ending matrix.
