Nintendo scheduled a separate Nintendo Direct for March 27, 2025, focused on games for the original Nintendo Switch. The roughly 30-minute presentation was not the Switch 2 reveal: Nintendo said there would be no Switch 2 updates in it. That reveal was scheduled for a different Direct on April 2, 2025.

- Not part of the plan: Nintendo said there would be no Switch 2 updates during that presentation.
