The choice is primarily resolution and screen size: the Predator X32 X2 is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor, while the X27U X1 is a 26.5-inch 1440p model. Acer lists both as QD-OLED displays rated for up to 240Hz and 0.03ms GtG response time; those are published specifications, not independent measurements.
What’s the difference between the Acer Predator X32 X2 and X27U X1?
The X32 X2 gives you a larger 4K display; the X27U X1 offers a smaller 1440p screen. Tom’s Hardware’s March 31, 2025 launch report describes the two models with shared headline motion and picture specifications, but the resolution and size are the clearest practical distinctions for choosing between them.
| Specification | Predator X32 X2 | Predator X27U X1 |
|---|---|---|
| Screen size and resolution | 31.5 inches; 3840 × 2160 (4K) | 26.5 inches; 2560 × 1440 (WQHD) |

Specifications beyond the Australian X27U X1 listing are reported by Tom’s Hardware’s March 31, 2025 launch coverage. Acer’s regional listing is for the X27U X1, part reference UM.GXXSA.101, and confirms its Australian-market features.
Which one is 4K?
The X32 X2 is the 4K model, with 3840 × 2160 pixels across a 31.5-inch screen. The X27U X1 is 2560 × 1440 (WQHD) at 26.5 inches. That makes the X32 X2 the option to consider if your priority is the higher-resolution, larger panel; the X27U X1 is the smaller, lower-resolution alternative. The supplied specifications alone do not establish which will perform better with a particular PC or game.

Do both monitors support 240Hz, and what does 0.03ms mean?
Yes. Acer’s published specifications and 2025 launch coverage list both monitors at up to 240Hz and rate each at 0.03ms GtG response time. GtG means gray-to-gray pixel transition time. These figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results: they do not establish measured input lag, real-world response behavior, or that one model is faster than the other.
What do the HDR, color and connection specifications establish?
The launch report lists both displays with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, 250-nit native brightness, a peak of up to 1,000 nits in a 3% window, 99% DCI-P3 coverage and DisplayHDR 400. These are reported specifications, not independent measurements. The peak-brightness figure is specifically tied to a 3% window, rather than a claim about full-screen brightness.
