Acer’s May 2025 Predator announcement covered two compact gaming laptops and a 28-liter gaming desktop: the creator-oriented Predator Triton 14 AI, the configurable Predator Helios Neo 14 AI, and the Predator Orion 3000. The reported specs and prices below describe launch announcements, not confirmed current retail configurations.
What Acer announced
In a May 16, 2025 report, HotHardware described three Predator systems announced ahead of Computex 2025. The Triton 14 AI pairs an OLED touchscreen with RTX 5070 laptop graphics; the Helios Neo 14 AI offers a choice of display and RTX 5060 or 5070 laptop graphics; and the Orion 3000 is a tower desktop announced with a Core Ultra 7 processor and RTX 5070. The Triton’s reported 14.5-inch OLED touchscreen combines 2880×1800 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Its announced configuration includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V and GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics, with up to 32 GB DDR5-8533 memory and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. HotHardware lists its thickness as 0.68 inches and weight as 3.52 pounds.

HotHardware also relayed Acer’s claim that the Triton’s metal cooling-fan blades measure 0.05 mm and can increase airflow by 20% compared with plastic blades. That is a manufacturer claim reported at announcement, not an independently measured performance result.
Predator Helios Neo 14 AI: display and GPU choices
The Helios Neo 14 AI was reported with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, a choice of RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 laptop graphics, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X-7467 memory, and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. Its 14.5-inch display options include an OLED panel with 2880×1800 resolution and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, or an IPS panel associated with G-SYNC support. The report also names NVIDIA Advanced Optimus for the system. It does not specify refresh rates for these display options.

Predator Orion 3000: compact tower with RTX 5070
The Orion 3000 is a 28-liter desktop tower reported with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, GeForce RTX 5070, up to 32 GB dual-channel DDR5-5600, and up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Connectivity listed by HotHardware includes Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E and Killer Ethernet E2600.
According to HotHardware’s account of Acer’s announcement, the front panel has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, and an audio jack. The rear has four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a LAN port, and three audio jacks. Confirm the exact port complement on the specific regional model before buying.
