You can enter when a test is open, but nothing you do there is saved to your main Adopt Me account—and a feature in the Lab is not guaranteed to reach the live game.
What is Adopt Me Test Lab?
The official Roblox listing describes Test Lab as a place to try experimental features and provide feedback. Uplift Games calls it a test server for trying updates before they are added to the main Adopt Me servers. It is an experiment space, not a dependable preview of every future update.
How to join Adopt Me Test Lab
Uplift Games lists three official ways to find it:
- Use an in-game invitation: A random pop-up may invite you while you are playing the main Adopt Me experience.
- Find it on Roblox: Look for Test Lab among experiences by DreamCraft.
- Use the official short link: https://testlab.playadopt.me/.
Test Lab is available to everyone during testing periods, but the team opens it when it wants to test particular features. Follow the Test Lab on Roblox for notifications and check official @PlayAdoptMe social accounts and Discord for announcements. The Uplift Games FAQ also says to trust only links published by official accounts or websites.
Is Test Lab open now?
There is no guaranteed weekly Test Lab schedule. The main Adopt Me game generally gets weekly updates, and the official FAQ advises players to check on Fridays; that cadence does not mean Test Lab opens every Friday. Openings depend on the team’s testing plans, so check the official Roblox listing and Adopt Me channels for current availability. The Test Lab FAQ was last shown as updated July 21, 2025, so announcements are the better way to confirm whether a particular test is active.

Does Test Lab progress transfer to the main game?
No. Uplift Games says Test Lab data is wiped often, the Lab backpack is emptied, and items are provided according to the experiment. Test Lab actions do not affect your main account. Treat Lab items and builds as temporary rather than lasting progress.
Do Test Lab features become new updates?
Not necessarily. Features are experimental: Uplift Games may change them during testing or decide not to add them to the main game. A Lab feature should not be treated as a confirmed upcoming update unless the studio separately announces its release. For confirmation, follow official @PlayAdoptMe social accounts. The studio’s feature-testing guidance also notes that tests can require more development or be cancelled.

How does Uplift Games use player feedback?
The studio says it looks at how players interact with features and where they spend time. It may also run direct in-game surveys, and players can share feedback on Discord or tag @PlayAdoptMe on other social platforms. Roblox has reported that Uplift Games used Roblox Analytics and Experiments to test its revamped trading hub before a broader rollout. That example shows how testing can inform development, but it does not mean every Test Lab experiment will ship.
How to avoid fake Test Lab links
- Open the Roblox experience or use the short link published by Uplift Games.
- Ignore players who offer guaranteed access or send you to a different testing link.
- Check announcements on official Adopt Me channels rather than relying on unofficial claims.
Uplift Games warns that links shared by other players may be scams. Its guidance for other random feature tests also says selection cannot be guaranteed and directs players to use the official Adopt Me experience.

Do you need to buy anything to play?
No purchase is identified as a requirement for Test Lab. It is a Roblox experience, and Uplift Games says the main Adopt Me game is free to play; optional premium items use Robux, but they are not described as necessary for Test Lab access.
