Age of Empires Mobile is built around persistent empire-building, historical heroes, alliances, shared-world conflict, sieges, live events and large online battles. The publisher describes a globally synchronized experience and network-acceleration technology, but those are publisher claims rather than an independent guarantee of connection quality in every region.

How does cross-platform progress work?
Mobile players can continue their progress on PC after binding the relevant account. To protect an existing mobile profile:
- Open the game on mobile.
- Tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Tap Bind beside the platform account you want to use.
- Sign in with that account.
- Launch the PC version and sign in with the bound account.
Read the official account-binding guide before switching platforms. Signing in on a new platform with an unbound account can create a separate profile. The account being bound must not already contain separate Age of Empires Mobile progress. Linking two accounts that both have progress can permanently sacrifice one progression record, and unlinking may require customer-service assistance.
