AI LIMIT is a single-player action RPG from Sense Games and CE-Asia, released March 27, 2025. Store listings establish its setting, platforms, features and editions, but they do not establish how its combat, difficulty, performance or campaign hold up in play. The most useful verdict from the available evidence is therefore a qualified one: it is a Soulslike-leaning action RPG worth investigating if its post-apocalyptic premise appeals, but you should not treat storefront blurbs or review aggregates as a substitute for platform-specific gameplay coverage.
What is AI LIMIT?
AI LIMIT is a single-player action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic future where civilization is close to extinction. The Steam listing places the story in Havenswell and follows Arrisa, a Blader described as immortal. Sense Games developed the game, and CE-Asia published it. It released on March 27, 2025, according to the Steam listing and PlayStation listing.

The stores present it as an action RPG with Soulslike associations, but that label alone cannot tell you how tightly attacks respond, how punishing bosses are, or how much room the game gives newcomers. Those are matters of play, not reliable conclusions from a genre tag.

What do the editions and add-on include?
The PlayStation storefront lists Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe version includes the base game, Opossums Sais, three Mud Balls, three Pure Crystals, a digital artbook and the White Sparrow Set. Steam also describes Deluxe content and says bonus items can be claimed near the first Branch. Confirm the current regional listing and contents before purchasing; prices and promotions are not stable enough to treat as current without a live check.

What do player and critic aggregates say?
Storefront aggregates offer a snapshot of audience and critic reception, not a review of the game’s moment-to-moment quality. In a 2026 search snapshot, Steam showed 91% positive from 3,816 English-language reviews overall and 82% positive from 281 recent English-language reviews. The counts and percentages can change as reviews arrive. The Steam page also reproduces short review comments; for example, it attributes to Famitsu the line, “The level design of AI LIMIT is splendid. It is filled with secrets and exploring them is great fun.” That is an attributed opinion, not a guarantee that every player will enjoy exploring.
Epic’s listing displayed an OpenCritic top-critic average of 69, labeled “Fair,” with 57% of critics recommending, in the same 2026 snapshot. This is an aggregate reported on the Epic listing, not a substitute for reading reviews that match your preferred platform or play style. Neither storefront figure establishes how difficult the game is, how long it takes to finish, or how it runs on your hardware.

What should you look for in a full review?
For a purchase decision, prioritize coverage that identifies its platform, patch, hardware or console mode, and playtime. A useful review should show its basis for judgments about:
- Combat: how responsive attacks and defensive actions feel, and whether options remain varied across a full playthrough.
- Challenge: how demanding regular encounters and bosses are, and whether the game offers meaningful ways to soften the difficulty.
- Exploration and progression: whether level layouts reward detours and how exploration connects to character growth.
- Technical quality: stability and performance on the specific platform and configuration reviewed.
- Length and endgame: campaign duration for the stated play style, plus what the post-ending add-on contributes.
Without those observations, claims that AI LIMIT is easy for newcomers, consistently punishing, technically polished, or a particular number of hours long would go beyond what the storefront evidence establishes.

The official Steam Community announcements page includes Patch Notes 1.2.004 dated September 22. The announcement says the update focuses on asset organization and bug fixes and offers steps for certain launch problems. Because the advice is tied to a version and symptom, consult the official announcements for current instructions. The listed sequence includes updating and verifying game files, disabling shader pre-caching, and, if necessary, disabling Steam Cloud saves or reinstalling.
