If a feature matters to you, take time with it before confirming your character rather than assuming you can change it later.
What can you customize when creating an AION 2 character?
NCSOFT describes AION 2 as offering more than 200 appearance options. Its November 2025 announcement names body shape, skin tone, eye color, and muscle definition as examples; it does not present those as a complete list of the creator’s controls. NCSOFT’s announcement also says pre-designed appearance presets would be available for the pre-creation event. That event detail does not establish what presets are available in the current client.
An earlier NCSOFT customization demonstration described options for face, hair, makeup, styling, and body type. These are documented creator categories, not confirmation that each can be revised after the character is made. The August 2025 announcement characterized the demonstration as detailed personalization of avatars.
The official AION 2 English homepage also describes an advanced customization system. Taken together, these sources establish that appearance creation is extensive; they do not establish the post-creation editing rules.

Can you change appearance after creation?
The official material reviewed does not specify which fields remain editable, whether an edit reopens the full creator or only selected options, or whether changes require a voucher, currency, or another service. It also does not establish those rules separately by region. Therefore, there is no verified official basis here for promising that a particular feature—such as face, hair, or body type—can be changed later.
A third-party guide reports an Appearance Change Voucher, but that report does not confirm current availability, price, or mechanics. Treat it as unverified rather than as an instruction for the current game: AION 2 Video Wiki’s character-creation page.

How to avoid a regrettable choice
- Review the appearance carefully before confirming character creation, especially any detail you would not want to keep if it proves difficult to change.
- Use a preset only if it suits you; the announcement of presets was tied to the pre-creation event and does not confirm the current selection.
- Before spending currency or using an item to change appearance, check the current official notice or in-game description for your region. Confirm which features it covers, whether the change is repeatable, and any cost or restrictions.
Do not confuse event rules with current character limits
NCSOFT said character creation was limited to one character per account during the November 2025 pre-creation event. That was an event-specific rule, not evidence of the current character-slot limit. Check current regional game information for the limit that applies to your account.

The AION 2 Global Operation Policy addresses appearance standards, naming face, hair, style, and body type while allowing broad customization subject to the policy’s restrictions. It is a conduct policy, not a guide to editing an existing character.
