What can you change during character creation?
NCSOFT described body shape as one of AION 2’s customization options, alongside skin tone, eye color, and muscle definition. Its November 16, 2025 announcement counted more than 200 customization options and also mentioned pre-designed appearance presets. Can you change an existing character’s body type?
A guide published by Sportskeeda on October 1, 2026 reports that players can reopen customization for an existing character through Settings > Customization and edit the body type. This is secondary-source reporting: the official NCSOFT sources cited above confirm appearance customization, but do not verify this current post-creation process for the global client. So, if you are deciding whether to commit to a body type at creation, there is a reported way to change it later—but treat that as an option to verify in your own client, not a guaranteed feature across every region or version.
What might an appearance change cost?
The same Sportskeeda guide reports a default charge of 600 Quna or the option to use an Appearance Change Voucher. The official sources cited here do not confirm the price, voucher conditions, or whether either option is available in every region or current version. Before applying a change, read the client’s confirmation dialog and check the current regional notices; do not assume that the reported charge or voucher terms will apply to your character.

How AION 2’s appearance policy applies
NCSOFT’s global operation policy says players are generally free to customize their appearances, including face, hair, style, and body type. It also identifies prohibited appearance categories and says violations may lead to enforcement. Read the official operation policy
