Zeekr plans to add AirConsole to selected European vehicles by the end of 2026 through an over-the-air update. The service turns a car’s infotainment display into a game screen and lets players use smartphones as controllers, connected by QR code. Zeekr says a Zeekr Connected Premium subscription will be required; it has not yet named eligible models.
What AirConsole’s Zeekr partnership means
Zeekr announced the partnership with N-Dream, the Zurich-based company behind AirConsole, on October 12, 2026, at the Paris Motor Show. It is Zeekr’s first announced AirConsole deal within the Geely group: Geely lists Zeekr among the brands it develops and manufactures. Zeekr’s announcement frames the plan as part of its European expansion.

AirConsole is an online gaming platform built for shared-screen play: a vehicle display shows the game while players connect smartphones and use them as controllers. AirConsole says its system does not require additional hardware. The company describes itself as a product of N-Dream AG and says it has more than 18 million players worldwide; that figure is AirConsole’s own, and its page does not date the count. AirConsole

When it is expected, and which cars are included
Zeekr says it will begin introducing AirConsole to selected European models by the end of 2026, delivered through an over-the-air software update. As of October 13, 2026, this is a future rollout plan, not confirmation that AirConsole is generally available in customer Zeekr cars. AirConsole’s supported-car page, updated August 11, 2026, does not yet list Zeekr. Its existing listings show why eligibility should be checked by vehicle and system rather than assumed across a whole brand: support can vary by model, software, infotainment package, subscription or license, and country. How playing is supposed to work
- Get the vehicle update. Zeekr says AirConsole will arrive on selected eligible European models by over-the-air update. The company has not yet published a model list or customer activation instructions.
- Open AirConsole on the infotainment display. The in-car display serves as the game screen.
- Connect a smartphone using the QR code. The phone acts as the controller, so Zeekr says no extra gaming hardware is needed.
- Meet the subscription condition. Zeekr says access will require a Zeekr Connected Premium subscription.
The announcement does not specify which games will be available in Zeekr vehicles, whether play will be limited to when the car is parked, or whether any passenger-screen mode will be offered. Those details should not be inferred from other AirConsole deployments.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish
Subscription and hardware
For the planned Zeekr integration, the stated access condition is a Zeekr Connected Premium subscription, and Zeekr says no additional gaming hardware is necessary. This is specific to Zeekr’s announcement; it should not be treated as a universal AirConsole requirement across other cars.

AirConsole has described a passenger-screen privacy feature for selected Audi vehicles that allows passengers to play while the vehicle is moving without exposing the screen to the driver.
