The current Retail guide lists 100 Lunar Festival elders across Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend, the Dragon Isles, and Khaz Algar. Use the regional lists below to find each elder by zone and coordinates; dungeon elders are identified by instance landmarks. The next scheduled event is February 2–16, 2027, ending at 10 AM Pacific, according to Wowhead’s guide. Check the in-game calendar for schedule changes.
How to use this location list
Coordinates are zone coordinates. If you use a coordinate addon, enter the numbers for the listed zone; otherwise, the named settlement or landmark will help you narrow the search. Dungeon directions are landmarks rather than precise coordinates because the guide describes those locations as approximate.
The region totals are Kalimdor 30, Eastern Kingdoms 29, Northrend 25, the Dragon Isles 8, and Khaz Algar 8. The category lists distinguish open-world, capital-city, dungeon, and Cataclysm-zone elders where applicable.

Rewards and the Elder title
The guide says each honored elder grants one Coin of Ancestry, 75 reputation with major city factions, and a Lucky Red Envelope. The envelope contains either a Lucky Rocket Cluster or an Elder’s Moonstone. Coins can be spent on festival items and do not expire.
The To Honor One’s Elders meta-achievement awards the Elder title and is part of What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been. Its component achievements cover regional and category groups; those groups overlap, so their listed counts should not be added to calculate a separate total. Blizzard’s article states, “If you complete the 12 Achievements below, your character will gain the title of Elder.” Read the official Lunar Festival article for that achievement context.
